  • Although this video uses a Miele Triflex HX2, if you own an original Miele Triflex HX1, the assembly and rearranging of the positions is the same.
    The original HX1 do not have the comfort clean. Here's the link to maintenance on the original HX1's:

    If you buy one of these vacuum cleaners you will love it. My mother has had one for more than 3 years now she is in her 80s and is something she can use daily.

    I wish I’d seen your video first 😓 I followed another’s method of removing the inner filler and it was brutal - they separated the filter from the bin housing, then (while holding the delicate outer filter system) pushed down and turned as if you were opening a child safe medicine bottle cap. It was not easy and I was worried I’d break it! Your technique of removing the delicate filter while holding onto the much sturdier bin canister and simply twisting it is infinitely easier, thank you!

      You’re welcome. It is hard but if you remove it when the dirt cup is removed from the unit it’s much easier.

    Hello! Thank you for the video. I was hoping you could recommend a wet vac or wet/dry vac that would be good to use on vehicle interiors? I own a Sebo E3 Premium and have the turbo brush attachment, so I was thinking that (along with the other attachments) would be fine for dry vacuuming. However, I want to wet vacuum my vehicle once or twice a year. I don't really trust most of the "Top 10" reviews any longer, so seeking advice from actual experts, haha.

      When you say you would like to "wet vacuum" are you talking about shampooing your interior?

      @@kimberly.thomason Great question! I'm not really sure what the correct term is. I'm not in the cleaning industry, just really enjoy cleaning, haha. I guess shampooing is the correct term? I would like to dry vacuum my car, then apply a liquid cleaning solution/water, agitate it somehow, then extract the solution/water with all the gunk it pulls up. I'm also looking for a recommendation to do the same on my home carpeting. I've read a lot of consumer reviews saying the Bissell Big Green Professional is great, but I would still prefer to hear it from the professionals that regularly deal with repairs/warranties/servicing. Thanks again!

      @@MrRade0110 I would suggest DRY cleaning your carpets with DRY carpet cleaner. It is much better for the interior of your car and it will stay cleaner longer. ua-cam.com/video/EkosMVN-Ehk/v-deo.html
      I use an orbiter, in this video, but you can also use a scrub brush in your car instead of the bulky machine. I will be doing more videos about this product soon. Thanks for subscribing!

      @@kimberly.thomason carpet and laminate but I have super long hair and a long haired kitten. I’m using a Hoover pet wind tunnel and it works great but it clogs up the hose all the time.

      @@jbromelandart I love this question and will make a video about this. But the best vacuums for long hair are Sebo’s. They are very user friendly, they don’t clog with hair and they make their brush rolls easily removable for cleaning. I just adopted a kitten too 🤗

      @@kimberly.thomason Thank you so much for the tip! I think it was around 2008 I took my first vacuum apart and put it back together with the help of the manufacturer’s customer service team….you’re right, there’s nothing like it! 😂 I learned most of those tips then, but I still truly appreciated your Hoover video, because I didn’t know that my similar vacuum had two filters until last night! Hopefully changing that filter helps!

    Can you raise or lift the front end? It’s low and scratches the floor.

    • @kimberly.thomason
      @kimberly.thomason  8 місяців тому

      If it is scratching your floor something might be worn or wrong with the unit because this is not typical. You can also put a floor tool with just bristles on it....like the Miele Parquet Floor Twister.
