Man. 11-26-23. Do you know how much cheaper this is TODAY? Something as simple as lint catchers has tripled in price. I just purchased 12 for 14 bucks and change. Woo hooo. Thanks for this. Edit spelling.
I tried this exactly as told. Dollar store had two. Bought both for two bucks. Tripled them up and attached to end of hose. Outstanding idea. Worked great. For two dollars I made six. At the store they are four dollars for two!! And these work better. Very creative. Thank you
You are so very welcome!! .. Hope you're staying safe out there. I've been doing this method for a couple years now & has been more than a money saver. And yes, 6 for $2.00? Sounds good to me too!!
Thank you so much this helps me out greatly. I was just searching for a video on how to clean those lint socks and stumbled across this very smart, helpful and easy to understand tutorial on how to make my own for cheaper! THANK YOUUU SIR! :-)
Glad I read down... I thought you were suppose to put the thing in the wash with the clothes! You know, like the fur zapper or those little mesh cones with the flower tops? What a laugh on me!
I can see by alot of the reviews alot of people thought this is something you could put in to stop lint getting on your clothes ( as a lint filter) but can we some how set it up to be used inside the washing machine liquid cap to catch lint from going on your clothes so we don't have to buy an expensive lint filter?? Ps i dont care about my drains hahahaha
Hi, David. I haven't figured anything it on how to keep lint off clothes other than a lint brush after drying the clothes. The best thing I can think of is buying an upright washer. The holes on the insides of the washers are there to sift out dirt, debris & including fiber which comes off clothes. If you ever hear of "Duel bucket" or "duel tub" when buying a washer, that's what they mean. I can say this, Never buy a washer that Does Not have a spool in the middle. You want that spool in the middle!!
@@owl3031 you're totally right on that. I hated it and my husband say that the new ones safe a lot of water but i prefer something that really cleans my clothes. Thank you for making this video 🤠
Man thank you so much. I decent moved into a a house with 3 house mates and I been getting lint all over my clothes for the last 2 weeks so I said enough is a enough so I cleaned the whole thing out to realise they don't have a lint filter, they must have thrown it out or something but anyway that's terrible that no one has said anything lol. I'm going to try this trick if I find one of those body was things that has a similar set up like yours. But can u please do me one favour and show me or tell me how the hell do i zip tie it in? Because it has to be reasonably low..... I think haha. Btw I'm no expert but UA-cam makes me one
I have another video which shows you how to put it on.. Just go to my channel & look for "How to make a lint catcher pt. 2." And a pt.3. You can use a zip tie or a Stainless steel Hose clamp to keep the lint catchers on.
This is to stop your drain from clogging from the lint mixed in with the water coming out of your washer drain hose. I've seen someone selling something just like this, but they are metal mesh. He has a great idea. For $1 you can make many.
You slide it over the drain spout coming out of the washer. When the washer drains out the water, there will be a hose where the water comes out of... and that's where you tie this on to. I will try to make a short video on that.
Gloria Carcamo :: I guess I should of shown how to put one of those on the drainage hose where the water comes out of. But it works great catching lint.

you’re watching a tutorial on how to make a lint catcher and don’t even know what a lint catcher is?
Great idea!
Can you use this for the back of your dryer also?

Also is that one I can put in a top loader when I take the liquid top cap off
Does this work to put in washer or dryer and does it help remove human hair?
The drain tube where the water come out from the washer.
What do you do with them?
Put them on the end of the hose leading out of the washer. This catches the lint so your sewer doesn't clog up with clothing strands.
Thank you.

It is lagging
Zip up your jacket
I didn't actually know my zipper was that far down till after the video...
😂😂
What are these sold as or called in the store?
Bath Shower Body Exfoliating Bath Sponge Scrub Mesh ...
Great, I’ll get some- they should last longer than the little ones too! Just need some cable ties as well.
Is this to keep lint off of clothes?
To catch lint.. To keep it from clogging up your sewer system pipes.
Why do you place 3 inside of each other?
After using one, lint would escape more. Then 2 would catch more. But after using 3, it would even catch the finer strands...
And what do you do with this thing?
Wrap it around the drain spout leading out of the washer to catch the lint. Use a twist tie or a metal clamp to keep it in place.
This is to stop your drain from clogging from the lint mixed in with the water coming out of your washer drain hose. I've seen someone selling something just like this, but they are metal mesh. He has a great idea. For $1 you can make many.
How can it helps not to attach punya on cloths? How can I fix it into the washing machine?
You slide it over the drain spout coming out of the washer. When the washer drains out the water, there will be a hose where the water comes out of... and that's where you tie this on to. I will try to make a short video on that.
Do you put that into the washing machine with the clothes? Does it work well?
Gloria Carcamo :: I guess I should of shown how to put one of those on the drainage hose where the water comes out of. But it works great catching lint.
Gloria Carcamo You install it at the end of the washing machine water drain line filter
Some guy uses a sock to catch all the lint that comes out of the machine.
Jesus fuckin Christ you people don’t wash clothes huh🤣🤣
What on earth are you doing?
What part of that don't you understand..?
