Full-joyed this film, excellently produced. V.Rocket was a heavy weight sound back in the day. Parliament was not only the boss but he was a wicked operator, him and Ruben was a powerful combination. Ruben was a ruff neck selector who gave every sound worries! Maximum respect V.Rocket family, great to see Parliament son carrying on the legacy.
This is better than the Bob Marley film ✨💫🤷🏾♂️✨💫
V Rocket vs Saxon Studio in MFM Northampton UK is

Large up yourself V Rocket family! Wicked documentary. Thank you. One of the hardest things is to piece together the foundational of sounds in the UK. Nuff love Xuxu - Legs Eleven Sound System

X amount of love and respect to the V.Rocket family. This is an amazing film and story. It’s great seeing Parliament’s son Belly (bad selector) taking the leadership with Val B and Lady V’s son taking position. This is the power of a dynasty. 🚀🚀👏👏🚀🚀👏👏🚀🚀

Absolutly Brilliant, a superb capture of the Great V. Rocket's musical Journe!! . A great sound that has been up there from way back and still relevant today, I heard them 40 odd years ago and then went to Nottingham and heard them in there domain at the Marcus Garvey Centre, Hyson Green, The Palais and somewhere called Acna (i think) and many other places, Nottingham was sweet them days ( big up Rock City). I then Heard them up and down the country and they always performed good. A lovely set of people who have kept the sound system fire burning and all manners and respect to the Full crew, Parliament , Rueben, Lady V and all the others past and present members on your achievements. Thanks for keeping us entertained for so long, and may you continue to strive, Maximum Raspect everytime.
Big up to the Film maker you did good.

V rocket forever nuff luv big respect Johnny brown Cottesmore school Gregory pub oldschool fire
Loved this film. V Rocket had one of the very best sounds (equipment wise) in the UK. Sounded perfect every time.
And that Jammys dub box!
Reuben once told me that when artists came to the UK and stayed in Nottingham, Valerie would ask him if he wanted to cut any dubs with them. Reuben always said no because he was only interested in cutting specials in Jamaica where artists would perform at their best. That's how sophisticated they were compared to most other UK sounds.
Big up V-Rocket family great documentary..
Legendary sound inna foreign!
Nuff love and respect for the V Rocket family……straight outta the Great People’s Republic of Nottingham 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️🕺🏿🕺🏿🕺🏿

V Rocket this is EXCELLENT - this is a history lesson for all those up and coming sound systems to study, acknowledge and know the proper foundation. Lady V more respect of holding it together in such a male dominated industry.👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
..🙏💯🔥🔥...This is what is needed .You must be given praise in taking such steps. For to long in the "Sound System Community" there has been to much apathy.

This is a great video, great story, and milestone in UK sound system history. I am sorry to say, that a sour note for me, is when Rory Stonelove, felt he had to chat bout, how Valerie, was more beatiful when she was younger, rasclart...we all were!! And this bredda looking llike giant haystacks, chatting bout Valeries looks. Sorry, I found it offensive. However, that is the only bum note, in an otherwise brilliant video. Nuff Respect!

I remember my cousin from Nottingham telling me that V Rocket was a bad sound in the late 1970's.
Also the guy in the video from Sovereign sound is the brother of Robbie from AFTV or Arsenal Fan TV the same Robbie who was Sovereigns main MC back in the day Crucial Robbie.
