I ride a 10r now but I've got a 94 fzr600 that through a rod. True story, I was about 1 and a half to two miles from home no! Oil know tow but it was a great runner until that moment. This got me thinking Ebay engine cases 😂😂😂 ride by spring 👍🏽😎🏁🏁🏁
Dang that sucks to hear! I definitely had a lot of fun with the FZR it was one of my bucket list bikes to own. I regretted selling it as soon as I did but made a hefty profit, will probably get another in the future lol!
there were two different seals, it's showing one is unavailable now but here's the one that is: a.co/d/8zQqVMs this is the link for the unavailable one, should be able to find another by typing in those dimensions I believe this is the one I had to trim the thickness of to use for the waterpump shaft. a.co/d/jky3vXT
So to answer your question, no it’s not that bad to drop the cradle to do the head gasket, my brother stripped out the spark plug and broke it in the bike we’re working on, ended up swapping top ends, ran $200 in labor
