We should think about India winning. No player should be considered higher than the game. There are many talented youngsters who can now win the games for India. No need to depend on old candidates when lot of talented youngsters are there. Some of this type of players are playing7 for making more money in their pocket and personal records
Hardik's captaincy records in GT influenced the decision of giving him captaincy and MI season has also influenced removal. His fitness is an issue, cannot be denied. In a recent interview he has said he was fit by Jan 2024 but he still did not play Afghanistan series because he wanted to be there for WC. Now if he wants to pick and choose its better for him to not be a Captain or a VC.
Also, behavioural issues also have been attributed to him quite often, Shami recently spoke about his on field discussion with Hardik where Hardik said he didnt know why he abused Shami an over back when confronted by Shami. The Tilak comment was in extremely poor taste. Also, his post match comments after every MI match was quite off too.
Surely Gambhir also has a role in saying he doesnt want Hardik and feels Sky is a better fit.
Am sick of this sympathy card for hardik. As if he’s some magical leader in his prime fitness. Dude shouldn’t even be in team if he’s not able to bowl full quote of overs in every match
There are always multiple reasons for such decisions. The level of weeping journos and experts showering for someone as ridiculous as hardik is irritating
He’s mean, rude, bully and inconsistent
And these idiots experts forget that his injury magically get fixed before IPL
It's not only safety of the players the government has to worry about but also safety of the public and Indian fans who are so much passionate about cricket to go to pakistan. The government will be blamed if something happens there who can't take a chance.

I dont know why so much discussion going on Hardik who was not given captaincy. The reasons were clearly explainèd.
1. His injury prone nature & long recovery periods.
2. Allready he lost his captaincy to Rohit sharma in 2024 WC T20s bcoz of long lay off due to Injury.
3. He is rare breed not only in Indian cricket but also in world cricket there is no one match his skill set in the world at present. So getting best out of that skill set is prime focus than getting hìs captaincy service.
4. If he is not a captain - his work load, his fitness routines, his injury rehab if injured can be managed better.
5. On and off captaincy wont do any good for the team.
What more justification you want ???
I doubt
1. He may be only fit to bowl 4 overs
2. He may not be fit enough to complete his quota of overs in ODIs and bat at 5 or 6.
3. If thats the case he ll be restricted only to T20s untill he contribute 7 / 8 overs in ODIs regularly.
Thel selectors & Management is looking for All formet captain and already they were not intrested in split captaincy. Rohit's retirement, Hardik playing only white ball cricket, Gill is yet to get matured in captaincy. All these factors forced split captaincy as of now.
Hardiks captaincy snub thoroughly understandable and logical.
Why these people always talk nonsense before coming to main agenda.

Rohit and Kohli are old now. They should retire as soon as possible. Otherwise ruining Indian cricket by not allowing talented and well performing youngsters getting chances
