31:09 That spices she extracted with and crushed was coriander seeds. We use its leaves to enhance taste of curries and after the Coriander plant is fully grown it has seeds on it. Which is crushed to be one of the component of masala. Masala as a whole contains many other crushed seeds including coriander seeds cumin seeds and so on

lovely to see you exploring with lala ji, this exactly looks like my dad's village, so refreshing and overwhelming. m in canada right now, hopefully see you if possible, enjoyy🥳
The first one which lala ji was referring to as oil was actually mustard seed. The seed are crushed to produce oil. The spice which you saw was coriander seed. Good to see you exploring the remote parts of Nepal. Hope to see such contents in the coming days too.
21:20 You got it, mustard for oil. Mustard oil is banned as cooking oil in the EU and perhaps the US, but that is the traditional and primary cooking oil in Nepal for centuries.
This is so amazing, it transported me back to my growing years in my village, people are so casual, they don’t really have any schedules to work, no appointments to meet, pretty relaxed lifestyle, thank you so much! You guys are doing amazing, keep it up ! and good to see you’re learning bit of Nepali as well
It’s such a great way to live! I’m other parts of the world we trade that lifestyle for a more hectic one only to have more things that we don’t even need. Thanks for watching and I’m happy my content makes you happy!

Such a memorable vlog. This is how most of the Nepalese grew up. FYI- 1. Yes it was mustard 2.they hang the cow milk so that cat wont be able to drink 3. Many of Nepalese have small lake for Fish poultry 4. The seed is coriander when it’s grown enough. It’s the same green coriander that turns into seeds. Seeds are used as masala for food to taste.
