Mr hassan fareed very good way of explining basic concepts of physics Can you explain why inertia is the basic property of physical bodies I have an idea that inertia is necessary if universe is to maintain the law of conservation of energy Because when we apply a force on a body . If body does not resist to change its position then a little force can move very very bigger bodies with high acceleration and practically no energy would be needed to do work Which is a contradiction of the law of conservation of energy If U have any other explaination then please tell me through comment section By the way this question belongs to theoretical physics Deep ideas of physics are more difficult to understand
