Easy DIY Christmas Ornament. Decoupage Tutorial

- In this video, we’ll be making a Christmas ornament from one of those little wooden blanks that you find in the craft stores. We’ll do some 3D effects as well as decoupage and a metallic crackle finish.

Finally a youtube I can understand lol, This is so easy and thank you for sharing. Here is a hint to help: You can put the molds into the freezer for 25 min and it will be hard enough to come out of the mold without breaking but be pliable to bend to the shape you may need it. found out this on another youtube I was watching and it works

I'm so glad that you enjoyed this video and found my instructions easy to understand. That makes me happy. Yes, some of those molds can just be little stinkers lol.... I've see the freezer method as well, but haven't tried it yet. I'm actually now using "Cream Paste" on any molds that are delicate. It dries so flexible, that you can fold it in half if you wanted to, once it's dry 😅. I'll leave a link below for a video that shows how I use it. It's absolutely incredible! For your delicate air dry clay pieces, once you get it as clean and flush to the top of the mold as possible, try putting it in the freezer for about 15 minutes. It will harden and come right out if the mold clean as a whistle. Give it another minute or two to thaw then use.
Hi Arlene, I have been hearing about people using the freezer method for a while and didn't try it for a long time. I tried it a little while ago and it works like a dream. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner... lol.... I actually have a video coming out in the next week or so, where I explain that method.
