But even without winning, Kenny and the other 2019 laureates got to perform for livesteam and in-person audiences at some gorgeous venues; performed solos, trios, with a vocalist, and a jazz ensemble; and of course, received a $20,000 cash prize for being a finalist. Make no mistake, Kenny's talent was and continues to be well appreciated.
Wow I’m so glad I came across this piece. That piano comes out alive and the rest of the accompaniment not overpowering the piano, but instead it’s just in sync, beautiful to hear.
Coming to this three years late, and even knowing who won, I'm floored that this guy didn't.
