I often fall asleep listening to these... Idk.if I've ever technically listened to a full one but it's great that I can even put on one's with the full red bar across the bottom, pick a random.time, and it's new-to-me content! #ThankYouKDogg
Wish you guys would've mentioned that sick jump the ref did to get into position to count the pinfall in the Eddie Guerrero/Chris Benoit match - that was fantastic. Eddie does a frog splash originally facing AWAY from the ring so he has to rotate 180 degrees to hit it correctly, as soon as Eddie lands the ref does a jump over both of them and lands in a slide to count the pin. It made the finish for me, like a cherry on top of a sundae.
Bryan is absolutely right about stories being easier to remember when you make them up compared to the truth - it's even to the point where if two witnesses recount both of their stories and they're the same, exactly, to the letter it's actually treated as a red flag by the police because normal witness accounts usually differ to a certain degree because individual experience is subjective - they know those two people prepared a story together. Creating a story is an active experience that's more likely to stick in the memory, reality is a passive experience so unless you actively try to remember something the moment it happens you're very likely to misremember even the most obvious details - which is why morons think the Mandela Effect is a real phenomenon rather than just the after-effects of the inherent fragility of the human mind. It takes an arrogant fool to think that their own memory isn't at fault, but that something is intrinsically wrong with the fabric of reality itself. Nah, buddy, your mind is a faulty computer at the best of times - sucks to suck.
It's pretty funny/sad to compare these retro shows to the current ones - here Bryan, Vinny, and Craig all sound fresh, happy, and excited, but on the current shows they're just defeated. Bryan is always so irritable that I actually feel bad for him. 😅
Scott Hall to me always seemed the epitome of cool. From his porn stache and afro AWA days when he teamed with Curt Hennig, to his WWF run as Razor Ramone, to his WCW run. He looked amazing, his promos were great, his wrestling was even great(when he cared)! The guy always seemed destined for greatness and was far more talented than Nash... but he never really made it past the upper mid card. Alcoholism for ya... Also I remember as a child how big Lex Luger briefly was at this time. My older brother loved him, and I remember hearing his name on the schoolyard even. If you asked a kid in the mid 90's to name wrestlers, he'd say Hogan, Bret or Lex... It's kinda baffling how big he was in hindsight, because WCW *never* capitalized on it in any way shape or form.
He *did* beat Ric flair for the belt, albeit that was before the WBF and his Fed run. Bischoff never liked the guy so that's probably why he never got a real push besides some minor stuff here and there to try and make some money off of him.
They're very hit and miss, and they really do miss more than they hit. It was cool seeing memes and video game references and nerd culture in WWE for a bit... but they really overplayed it.
@@planescaped Craig must have won some contest that lets him on this show for the rest of time. I can't stand him and his fat breathing. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but on the radio, he is the embody of "XPAC Heat"
What was with those Arn promos though? Admonishing Benoit on air for betraying the wrestlers code? because it was a total shoot. Flair looked sheepish all the way through, having been the other man multiple times.
Vinny skipping matches and or shows is unprofessional as hell. Lucky I watch for Bryan otherwise I would not be happy. Vinny is a good comic relief tho. Then again. It's not like I am paying for this or ever will. But if I was? Oh yeah, unhappy AF. And u bet your arse I would complain on THE BOARD.
You should probably give their report on the case a listen to. They certainly don't view him that way, it's just not great watching a murderer and his murder victim hang out regardless of the circumstances.

sinicalypse hilarious. I've listened to them all many times and I hear something new each time because I too fall asleep listening to them 😂😂
sinicalypse I like to listen to these and fall asleep too! I thought I was the only one 😂

I listen to these at night too. You are not alone @sinicalypse

1:48:00 I have been looking for this segment literally for years and what makes it so great Bryan's classic rant. God bless you sir!
Remember it like yesterday. Had it on vhs
The Page turn was done really well. Even Giant's initial face turn made sense.
Page turn get it

“It was better than The New Day.”
Well,
The Charlotte/Becky Lynch comment aged nicely too!

The Disco Inferno New Leg Hold segment was outstanding due to Bryan's mispronunciation of "soot". 🤣
1:43:48 How Sting feels is how I feel at school EVERYDAY.
Nice burn by Vinny on The Faces Of Fear at 11:58-12:20.
I fight it hard to believe Vinny was never in a gang.
That Malenko vs Sammartino was brutal. You can find it on UA-cam.
You're a bloody legend, love listening to these, almost finished October so was getting edgy without the next one lined up haha!

Wont putting hastags in the comment section lead to these getting taken down?

What an equally funny, yet sad notion.

47:02 great little recap by Alvarez here on a brighter note.
Thank you👍
I want to hear this theme song that The Nasty Boys had that Vinny mentioned at 53:38-54:28.
Holding out for a hero was the greatest thing about Nitro.
2:22:25 Bryan's rants are so legendary 😅
“MIDGETS, SON! MIDGETS!”
Thank you sir. How far are you planning on uploading to, and any plans on uploading retro Raw?
Sean Casey is actually a pretty fantastic wrestler. And he still wrestles today.
Welcome to the greatest show on earth
“So, _Disco Inferno vs Glacier..._ ”
Almost as horrifying as Maxx Muscle vs the Renegade
Forget Okada v Omega... this is wrestling!
I want to see this Sting promo video that Vinny & Craig mentioned at 48:14-49:25.
Even though they did water it down, Wallstreet and Bubba joining the nWo did make sense since they were both "WWF Guys".
From 2:29:25 to 2:32:26 😂😂 one of the best Craig moments "do you want me to tell him"
53:23 Bryan: I gotta give The Nasties credit... they're not very good
That's the nicest thing any one can say about The Nasty Boys

Hogan has been garbage since the early 90s. Revisionist history and nostalgia has him painted as a factor in the NWO when he was the worst part of it.
