Its not often that its mentioned that Ed Hunter was the founder of the plastic sprinkler head and was who put Toro on the map for irrigation, and that many of his inventions and innovations are still used and sold to this day by both Hunter and Toro (example the Super 300 series head). He must have invented the Toro 252 series valves because like the Hunter valve are drop dead reliable. We've got some on a system we service that are all 28 years old and still going, even some Super 300s still! But a lot of PGPs and i20s!
I'm a contractor that has used Hunter since the introduction of the HPV valve and used that valve exclusively until it was discontinued. We briefly used RainBird but came back to Hunter due to the quality and innovative products offered, dedication to Made in USA assembly lines, and their treatment of their employees, which contributes to quality products.
