watching this for the first time. I couldn't agree more. Feels like he's given up almost which is super harsh to say but he's at like 70% at best. This is NOT a dig at all. I bet he's been sick. I saw them at Electric Castle years ago and he sounded awful, only did i realise in later days he was super ill. To still commit to show shows like this is insane dedication.
Man, i hope this crowd really appreciates what they're hearing, between Architects, Spiritbox, and Loathe. The sound and picture quality on these videos is so good. Thanks for this.
The best time to have seen architects was around Holy Hell era, you would get loads of crazy songs, the best live metalcore in history. i'm certain about that.

Think you're being a bit naive if you think there's just mild enhancement playback here. Listen to his cleans during some choruses, they're almost perfect. Anyway, not going to debate you, had the same conversations with hardcore BMTH fans who were in denial as well.@@EvilMammal

There are some additional vocals on backingtrack, some ad libs, Ryan Burnett does some backing cleans as well, there might be some vocoder things happening over there as well. Adam Christianson does some backings as well. There is some very good sound tech as well who puts/punches in some reverb and echo's to Sam's vocals at specific times. All I see and hear are people working on the business called 'Architects' who are just very professional, masters at their craft, and very very very passioned to give the audience the best experience possible for the money. No harm in that right? We need to build each other up instead of breaking each other down.

Seeing red is a great song and the rest of the band sounds great but Sam needs to work on his voice big time. His cleans are fine most of the time (except for those high notes on doomsday 🤢) but his screams sound breathy and tired. Get a vocal coach!
You can tell he just cant do it like he used to, which I expect. Sam’s vocal style is not easy to do day in day out. And requires a lot of pushing yourself. I hope he can substitute it better. What he is doing now is alright but it just doesn’t hit. Architects are legendary

Man I love Architects and I always will, but Sam is in no shape to tour. He’s clearly really tired and his screams aren’t what they used to be. I get that he’s been doing this for god knows how long, but I’d rather not see them for a year or something and have them come back when he feels better
He said last night in Copenhagen that he realizes his voice is not in the best shape and he's taken up singing lessons lately so he still has some stuff to work on with his coach.
Sam needs a break. I could only imagine screaming for a decade night in and out. Unfortunately, this is the fate most metal singers face, I don't want a switch in styles but whatever benefits Sam is what I want.
Its Not easy and healthy for a voice doing screams and shouting over 10 years. There are so many shouters (while she sleeps for example) which have Problems now. Cause Sam doesn't sing for years. Its a Combination of screaming and singing. His voice needs a Break to recover

Sam sounding absolutely terrible and behaves utterly bored, setlist is crappy, stage production looks like shit and is a serious assault on the eyes - but still doesn't manage to distract enough from the boredom that's happening on stage, on top of it an understandable sleeping audience. Saw them a year ago with Sleep Token, they were also not as good as usual but still a total different band than this embarrassment.

Love Architects, but Sam fell off after 2019. His screams just sound tired. Still the Night was a lot of fun.

I've seen Architects about 20+ times from 2013 till 2019, but this doesn't sound very good. Sam's screams are nothing compared to those years :(
