I lived in Bradford in the early 1960s. I recognize East Main Street. In 1963, I used to walk home from Floyd Fretz Junior High School (Middle school) all the way to Miller Street near Hanley Park in Bradford.
The opening scene of the movie "Wrong Turn" , starring Boxer A' Tool as the "Deadbeat" , The Mann as "Officer D.". Guest star Garheeb as " The Big Feet " and Special Guest star Halfheeb as " Ima Looser".
Bradford is part of the Buffalo Media Market and as a result that little area of Northwestern PA is. more focused on the Bills than on the Steelers. Zippo Lighters are made in Bradford. Bradford is the home of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford which is part of the University of Pittsburgh System. At approximately 40 seconds the video crosses the state line from New York State into Pennsylvania.
Don’t forget Case knives. Not to mention that not only the Bills are more focused than the Steelers, but also the Sabres more than the Penguins. A part of me misses Bradford (and Northwestern Pennsylvania/Western New York as a whole). But in order to improve my status in life, I had no other choice but to leave for better opportunities in Arizona.
@@mikejohn0088 Hi Mike. I lived on Miller Street in 1964 near Hanley Park. I remember Pitt classes were held at, not sure of spelling, the Hampshire House near Bradford Hospital. There also was a house on the corner of Kennedy and Miller streets where some out of town Pitt male students stayed. Big no no for the local girls to go near that place. I was friends with Danny Putnam who went to Pitt the same time you did.
@@jimfesta8981 I remember Danny, Gary Grassi, Bill Peckham from town, Dave Daley, Dr. Madden, Smithy at the pool room, Linda Blaisdell and I used to date Patti Erickson. Many memories, most good ---Bradford was like a second home to me. I was a dorm counselor at Emery Hall in '65 trying to keep my friends from ending up in Vietnam (which many did...like Gary who did not make it home). Those two years in retrospect were great times --- I wish I would have realized what I had but then but when you're 19 you can't see far ahead. Are you still in Bradford Jim? I was from Olean then and the towns like Olean and Bradford had their days in abundance once but now are members of the rust belt fraternity which really saddens me. I hope all is well with ya---Shalom!

3:39 I was there in July 2019, even parked in the same spot! Drove down from Buffalo.

I will never go back.
Me either...I found the sun shines 80% elsewhere.
I live in the Phoenix-area now. A part of me still misses Bradford (and the Twin Tiers) that I once called home.

They can drive to a Bills game in under 2 hours, it is a 4 hour drive to a Steelers game….
Is this town near the New York state line?
Yes....just a few miles.
Sounds like '70s porn music.
Why did you go up High Street instead of going right on Main? You could have at least went through town!? 🤔
I thought the same thing! I knew George and Linda when I when to Pitt in 64-65, a million yrs. ago.
@@mikejohn0088 Mike, are you talking about the Pitt Bradford campus back then?
@@jimfesta8981 Indeed I am...
