Reciting Surat Al-Falaq, Surat Al-Nas, and Surat Al-Ikhlas three times, then blowing on the hand three times and wiping the entire body three times, and reciting Ayat Al-Kursi and the end of Surat Al-Baqarah before sleeping, as the Messenger of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded us. The adhkar are basically invocations, the protections he spoke about before going to bed are the last 3 surahs of the quran (ikhlas, falaq, nas), verse 255 of surah 2 the cow (ayat al kursiy) and the last 2 verses of surah 2 (the cow)

Me: watch at night
I use to get a lot of sleep paralysis. This is when you are asleep then out of nowhere, you can't move, can't talk, and when you try to move there's this heavy vibration feeling. So, I would experience this sleep paralysis, and I would hear awful ringing in the ears. Every time I try to talk, the more intense the vibration feeling and ringing in the ears. My body would be in the position of facing the ceiling. This happened at least 3x a month. Every time it happened, I would try my best to get out of it, which made it worse.
Fast forward a year, with many sleep paralysis episodes, i analysed everything. My blood, hormonal, room temperature, any caffeine etc. Everything is perfect. Healthy and the doctors were confused. There was one episode of the sleep paralysis that I still remember unfortunately. It's a bit scary at the time, now I'm not scared at all.
The scary episode was when I had this paralysis. Now, here's the scary part. There was a shadow, of a man with a twiggy beard, not that tall, but a a shadow right at the side of me. I can see him, he knows I'm looking at him and I can't say anything to remove him, nor can I move my body to escape. Worst episode ever. So what's my situation now?
I get sleep paralysis, once every few months now. Fantastic! How? I went to my local imam and he explained to me, what I saw and what happened. Health professionals said i was fine. I'm glad, I thank Allah that gave me the courage to speak up, talk to health professionals and especially the imam for giving me the solution.
The solution was to do zhikr (remembrance) throughout the day when I have time (like waiting in line, grabbing a coffee, transport etc), and pray ayatul Kursi.
Ayatul Kursi recited onto my hands and rub my hands all over my body. This is called Ruqya, well a form of it.
So now I recite Surah Fatiha, ayatul Kursi on to my hands and rub my body. I have not experienced the sleep paralysis episode, rarely, and no shadow figure is coming my way now. I don't know what happened and why this occured. So I asked the imam.
The imam gave many reasons. He said, someone has cast evil. &eye on you. Then, if it's a woman jinn (and she can be Muslim or not), she may have fallen in love with me. This can be true, as I use to wear only underpants at home and in my room if I'm alone. I pray,.well.try to pray 5x a day on time, so the imam said, it could be the female jinn, encouraging me to be naked.
Finally he said , that I stay away from girls as I'm single. I'd be a lot more comfortable, close if you know what I mean around girls. I'm a respectful gentleman, still a man though. The jinn are trying to get me closer and. commit haram so they watch me enjoying myself. This part scared me.
I thank Allah that I don't receive any awful sleep paralysis, and if I do rarely, it's not intense and goes away quickly. I stay away from anything that leads to and includes Zina and i do Ruqya (recite the verses) at night every time I sleep.

Have you ever seen the hat man with the book? Hes a shadow and stands at your side and it looks like hes wearing a long coat a top hat and is holding an open book. Also ive had a female jinn jump on me when i was a teen i did the same thing never had clothes on at home but also wasnt muslim. Id get them 1 or 2x a week every week for a long time looking back i think its because the type of Christianity i grew up in was very heavy in relying on other than allah. When i became muslim i could tell even the ones who tried to get me couldn't
This happens to me once in a while but not as much as u. It happened to me 3 three weeks ago and for the first time when I woke up I was able to break free of it easily. When I did I felt like I heard something screaming. Like the Jin was trying to restrict me but couldn’t. Kinda felt like I threw him off of me.
I had sleep paralysis once, I saw a creepy woman and couldn’t speak out loud so I recited ayat alkursi internally, she screamed and disappeared immediately and I was able to move and speak again. It tend to happen when we are stressed, sad or depressed.

I swear to God Almighty, the same thing happened to me, and I saw a woman and heard steps walking away from me, then she came back quickly, and I was paralyzed reading the first verse of Surat Al-Fatihah in my heart because I could not utter a single word, and I was freed from it, and sleep paralysis happened to me many times, but I got used to one thing, just remember God or Read a verse in my heart, I will be liberated, and for a long time I have not been afflicted with sleep paralysis or the control of the jinn

The shadow didn't come closer to me, but is looking at me and knows I'm looking, and all I can see is a shadow. Shadow of a bearded man and he also has a hat (not like the hat man though, more similar to orthodox priests in Russia hats). I live in England, there are a variety of Christians (Anglican, church of England, protestants etc) and I know Jehovah's and unitarians don't worship Jesus or the cross, yet they believe in only Jesus can forgive their sins. So I can understand your experience when you mentioned the type of Christian church you were involved in, as it's more shirk. 1-2 a week of sleep paralysis episodes is quite a lot, I'm glad your faith in Allah is protecting you...

😢I used to have a lot of sleep paralysis and my brother suffered the worst but after I started doing regular namaz with adhkar not a single day I have got that and my brother is safe too.. It's not a joke I didn't invite but yet we all go through stuff.

i had to go to work one day before fajr by train. i got to the EMPTY train platform and remarked to myself at least im alone here. suddenly the lights went out, but they were still on. they didn't go dim, it just went pitch black dark and i could still see the light, but it was over there not shining here. and three figures came out of that darkness towards me. they wanted to harm me was my first instinct, they asked me what did i bring to offer them and what would i give. i smiled then in the darkness and low with my deepest voice slow as i could, i recited ayatul kursi. they fled as of on fire, as they ran from me screaming, the light came back in. the darkness just lifted. and i carried on standing there till my train came.

Personally, I have gone through sleep paralysis once and it was definitely a jin. I was in a half awake state just like the sheikh said and I had forgotten to recite my night prayers that specific day. I could clear see a dark shadow moving at the feet of my bed towards my head and all of a sudden a heavy pressure on my chest. It felt like hours of the pressure and not being able to move. No matter how much Quran I tried to recite, I couldn’t. It was one of the most scariest moment of my life. Since that day I have never forgotten to recite my night adkhar.

He often read surah nas, falaq & ikhlas translation. Especially before going to sleep. This was before he became muslim.
Basically reciting 4 KUL which refers to Surat Al-Kafirun, Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq, Surat Al-Nas and blow 3 times on yourself and around you such as 4 corners of the room through gesture (sometimes I don't hear about Surat-Al Kafirun, but it is also a strong point to recite), and also it is strongly suggested to read Ayat Al-Kursi before sleeping! On top of that last 2 verses of Baqarah is also very important! Its simple - you just recite and blow it on you, on whom you are with *maybe just by gesture) and around you and your room, May Allah protect us all.
I very often have sleep paralysis since childhood. I started seeing them at a very young age. They do many things, not only coming into the room. For me they also change the room, like suddenly i am on my bed but not in my room anymore. They move me from my room and get me back.

what he said about reading something before falling asleep was the last three little chapters of the holy Quran, then reading the line (idk what's the actual word in English but called "ayat") number 255 of the first chapter and the two last lines of the same first chapter. reading in Arabic is a must if you know Arabic otherwise idk tbh

I read these in a bottle of water and spray my whole house before I go to bed every night. I have seen burn marks in corners of walls on the ceiling area. It is a must and spray under your bed.
Ruqyah basically there are some verses in Quran especially we read for protection while going out ,before sleeping etc. And there are some prays we learn from hadiths we read like before going in toilet and when you out from there, when you passing pile of trash etc.
Allah may protect us or may not, if there is a test, it will arrive hands of human or jinn or animal. It's like a binding your horse and leaving there, it may be stolen or escape while we are not there. We are responsible from what we can, for the rest of it we trust Allah

Adhkar is what the prophet PBUH told us to recite from Qoran and prayers in the early morning and evening
Adhkar are prayers "duaas" and some small verses that we read in diffrent times(morning, afternoon, night) of the day or in diffrent occasions(travel, before eating, before leaving the house....) to seek the protection of Allah from anything that can harm us , and yes those jinn and their stories are real , there is actually a video made by sheikh uthman ibn farooq with sneako where he talks about what happened to him while doing Rukia on a woman , it's very scary lol if you like to watch it .
What you said about sleep paralysis is correct. It is actually a Jinn attack. My mom can vouch for that as a fact because she used to be a victim of sleep paralysis. One time she wished to see why she used to have sleep paralysis, and she actually saw a blocky creature with a horrific face squatting on her chest. She got so frightened that she started reciting ayatul kursi until that creature left her.
The same thing happened to me 2 times, I was sleeping at 6 pm, at that time I woke up suddenly, I feel someone walking near me, it looks like a dark shadow like a dark demon, I can't move my body. I try to move but I can't at that time I recited Surah Allahu Akbar with fear and after 2 or 3 minutes later that's gone from my room and i wakeup
my mother always told me not to sleep between 5.30 pm and 7 pm.
Sometime after 1am I was watching TV on the chair and suddenly I saw a snake move near my feet, I ran and put on the lamp and searched the room and it disappeared.

Sleep paralysis is when a jinn smothers/presses on you with his weight that you can't move. When that happens recite the 3 surah ; Nas, falaq & ikhlas.. Translation if you haven't memorized the arabic

Used to know this one guy who do this ghostbuster thing for a living. He asked me to drive him to some place 5 hours away because someone need his help there. While he was doing his thing there, the lady he was treating was talking in a male voice. But it could be something psychological, right? Freud already have hypothesis about this. However the thing that make me believe is that after a few minutes, suddenly the voice no longer coming from her direction, but instead come from 7-8 different point in that area, as if it's THX/IMAX surround sound theater (it's not, it's the front yard of a house, a big yard like 20x30 meter. The guy, the lady, and the lady family all was sitting at one spot, I was leaning on my car watching them from a distance, and there was no one else but twice the sound comes from behind my back. once from the canopy of a tree (about 10 meter high).

Wow, you jumped straight to Ruqya videos, I think Allah has a plan for you. Ruqya is the Islam version of Excorcism, by reading the words of Qur'an in arabic, it's pretty deep. And this jinn topic, is also pretty deep. The words of Qur'an if recited to shaytan has a burning effect on them, so those who do ruqya are considered soldiers of Allah, it's not an easy task because they're placing themselves in harms way to keep the shaytan away from people, including witchcraft and dark spells. We need it, because shaytan is working very hard for magic to spread like wildfire nowadays, we need to counterattack it somehow. The most common interactions with him is what they call sleep paralysis. When u wake up but u can’t move u body and u can’t talk until a couple of seconds go by. Usually when that happens it’s bc a jin is on top of you putting pressure on you or restricting u. It happened to me a couple weeks ago but i easily broke free from it as soon as it happened. When I was trying to push through and break free I feel like I heard something screaming. As if they weren’t able to hold and restrict me. Alhamdulilah I was ok
If this sleep paralysis happen again,change your bed position....and if it still happen,your must find imam to make barier in your room /house..dont forget to give salam before you enter the house or hotel or new places...and come home before magrib..

There is a chapter in Quran named “Al Jinn”. I recommend you to read it. I would like to point out that Jinn is in other dimension which our senses can’t recognise them. So the only source we know about them is through Quran as it is from our good who know everything and who reveals information that we really need to in our life. Other sources like Hadiths, which are not necessarily said by our prophet Mohammed, and others who tell story about them are not verified, so it could be true and could be false. They can never be verified as they are not reachable by our senses.

I am the same person who told you I saw a Jinn/demon I also can guarantee you when you have sleep paralysis it's a demon that is causing it. I was drinking doing sinful things not praying at the time,, which opened me up to demonic attacks.
