I would disagree with @3:30 only because you get way more points from an older pin. 1) you have a higher launch score 2) around the sun bonuses 3) previous cohorts/boosts The 30 story points didn’t really play a big part on my 1st claim vs reclaimed pins. But I do notice my 1st claim on older pins tend to start at around 1k of points and take ages to boost (and will never catch up to earlier launchers).
Some Disney pins have a survey that give extra points. Sometimes you need to release and reclaim to get the survey to show. Will you keep your first claim?
You will be included in the pool if you add your pin to the app before launch day. But your launch # will just be in the range of the number of people who claimed before the launch day happened :) so it could be a range of 50, or it could be a range of 500 you never know haha

If you release your pin and reclaim it, you will not keep the first claim
@@ImToofu that’s not true, I had to do that to all my Disney pins to trigger the card and even after the update all still give me first claim.
So if I get my pin after the first person unlocks theirs, but before launch day, will I still be in the pool to get a good launch #?
