My interpretation of Sansa watching Arya spar with Brienne: I think Sansa knew that her old family was gone, even the ones still alive weren't the same they used to be. None of them are. But this was probably a moment (the moment) that it really hit home: her old family are all gone.
Pretty close, last time she saw Arya she was a little girl running around the Red Keep chasing cats and embarrassing her, now here she is sparring with Brienne of freaking Tarth to a Draw! What the hell happened to her???
It’s not just that. It’s that the last time they were together, she was a bratty little sister who wanted to shoot arrows, play with swords, and was a tomboy… she was the opposite of what Sansa thought she should be/act. And here she is years later, have survived traveling through Westeros, traveled to Essos and back. And now she’s down below, not only having accomplished her younger dreams of becoming a warrior, one skillful enough to take on someone like Brienne. There’s definitely a hint of hate and jealousy. Arya achieved her dreams, whereas Sansa wanted to be a princess married to a strong and charming prince, and then become a queen. But, she got tormented by Joffrey, passed on to Tyrion, and then tortured and abused by Ramsay. Sansa survived a lot, mentally, emotionally, and physically, but she was a victim the entire time. She wasn’t able to fight back the way Arya could, and she wasn’t able to achieve her dreams/goals and see the world like Arya did. Arya got to do what she wanted, Bran went on to experience an adventure and come back different, Jon.. well Jon is Jon… and Sansa was basically a prisoner. Her siblings grew up to become experienced in life, and she’s still living with the consequences of her past. That’s why Sansa is upset. It’s not until after this that she starts to see that she can learn from her negative experiences can it can be used to strengthen and empower herself.

Being conflicted is exactly what G.R.R. Martin intends from his writing... He says that ASOIAF or Game of Thrones is about the human heart at conflict with itself... because the show depicts the characters in a multidimentional way, you can't decide with whom you will side, it's so realistic because no one human is entirely bad or entirely good.
this isn't his writing or even an interpretation of it any longer though tbh last we got is season 5 and crumbs he gave d&d for season 6 everything else is fanfiction
@nightfrost1891 I wasn't talking about this episode or season particularly... I am talking about what he says in general about this story. :) I know he stopped being involved etc... and I know he hasn't released a book etc...
I love how Arya tilts her head when she tells the guards what Sansa would do if she learned her sister was turned away. The eyebrow and the flash in the eye states it's your move. Choose wisely.
Best way to not have to run around after a dog, don't chase them. It's a game to them. 😁 It's fun. Probably best to teach it the command 'come'. Which is also a safety issue. When you aren't playing with them, hold out a nutritional treat so they can smell it while saying come. Give it the treat & praise. Repeat it, saying come then hold out the treat. Eventually, they will come on command. That's a cutey there!
Kota reminds me of my family dog growing up, Ronnie. She was an Australian shepherd mixed with a lab and looked very similar, just black and white. It's been 12 years now since we put her down, and man, I miss her when I'm reminded of her. She lived to be 14. Great episode.
The reason Sansa was watching Arya training with Brienne with such a weird face was because she knew that was her sister, but couldn’t recognize her because she’s been through so much and changed a lot So much time has passed right?
It´s called character arc. Most of my friends and myself liked him very much at certain points in the show later on. In the first season he was hated. But that´s the charme of GoT.
I just realized for the first time that the soldier blocking Arya at the gate is actually Eddie from Stranger Things Season 4!!!! Looking forward to his performance as the Human Torch in Marvel's latest Fantastic Four!

Despite his fuck-up, he is still a flawed character who has good intentions. The way I try to look at it from Tyrion's perspective is that he does genuinely want to help Dany rule the Seven Kingdoms, but he's internally conflicted about being at war with his family (despite how they treated him, they're still the only family he's ever had growing up and him killing his own father; Tywin clearly traumatized him)! He's desperately trying to have it both ways, where he can help Dany claim the Iron Throne but wants to defeat and dethrone his family WITHOUT the need to have them executed.

I am still wondering, since most of Danaerys' fleet was burned at Casterly Rock and Grey Worm must still be marching back on foot from one side of Westeros to the other, presumably completely undetected, how she transported so many Dothraki and their horses from Dragonstone to the Blackwater rush, just outside of Kings Landing, also undetected?🤔

The Mongols were excellent archers from horseback. They say they lived on horseback like some people live in a camper. The Dothraki seem to me to be based on the Mongols.
Jaimie and Bronn vs Dany is pretty interesting. As Dany clearly has the more brute force, but... I think having Jaimie's tactical expertise and experience in battle along with Bronn's kind of narrows the field a little bit. Still obviously probably going to be a losing fight because the Dragon just gives so much advantage.

Koda is in what we like to call the “Velociraptor stage” 2-24 months will be like this.
the dragons are running a marathon xD
Isn't it funny that one of the two guards in winterfell denying Arya, is in fact the same actor that plays Eddy in stranger things? ^^
Sansa is scared cause she thinks shes on Aria's list.
