Sir you said.. After preposition we have to use v1ing... But you used only with fond of... Able to ... To is also a preposition so we should have used ing but you did not use why???

Dear learner "To" is not working there as a preposition.... It's working as a "To infinitive".
I prefer reading to writing. Here TO is working as preposition that's why we have used ing.
