This video hit all the feels for me. My birthday is on the 6th and I was looking for a charity to fundraise for instead of getting gifts. I was literally watching this video and decided to do King's Kids and my usual National Down Syndrome Adoption Network. On May 7th, 2012, I lost my son, Noah, at 21 weeks gestation. He had DS and only 2 chambers of his heart!! I lost it when you started talking about your friend with the same condition.
Praying for the little girl. One of our grandson's had open heart surgery at 12 weeks of age. BUT now he only has one functioning lung. Please pray for him as well. He is almost 14. Thanks!
Loved hearing about what your grandparents did at 75! To have the courage to move to another continent and start a ministry is phenominal! It inspires me to walk closer with the Lord and listen more carefully! Thanks for sharing!
How fun, that Trey got to see snow for the first time! I have a friend that was adopted from Guatemala as a teenager and her first morning here, woke up to snow and she was so mesmerized at it! She loves the snow now! What a fun time you all are having! The property is so pretty! That Chai tea looks delicious! Beautiful snow day! Glad everyone got to Omaha and back, safely! Praying for the sweet little girl with the heart defect.
Your family absolutely amazes me. Such a bold move on behalf of your grandparents. Many are called but few are chosen. Truly walked in obedience to God's calling.
My prayers go out to the little girl at the Village. Hope she's living her best life! Also I find it fascinating that people like your cousin find snow so enthralling, something us Midwesterners are so used to seeing lol
Happy Trey made it safely to y'all!! We finally got 5 inches of snow in N.J!! Our winter has been mild!! I always love hearing about Kenya!! Fun times!! Thank you!! Praying for that little girl!!
Omg this was precious, I love seeing y’all’s family from half way around the world!! Your relationships are beautiful, the interactions. I love it all ❤❤
I cannot believe how much Trey was able to bring with him for the family~ Wow! Did he have room for his clothes & toothbrush?! He is Solo's nephew, right? Such a handsome fella, that one. So fun~& such an extra blessing~ to have family visit from so far away.💓
*Oh wait~ Sarah's cousin, now I remember from another post last year, when Solo & the olders went to Kenya. K, got it =) You people have a whole lotta people to keep track of, daaaang! Absolutely LOVE the family model of Kingdom's Kids~ God is amazing, every day and in every way. Such an amazing place to support!!
Sarah, I love the work your grandparents started and actually seeing it as you walked us through. I'm happy that they've now gotten cows and are doing well. I know that God can do the impossible, so I'm praying on behalf of the little girl. God bless Trey and his wife and staff /families for the work they are doing. I was laughing as the little one was waiting for Trey to come out in the snow. I guess he's fun uncle, willing to try anything with the children.😂😂
These days I only donate to places where I have a heart connection. Your family's Children's Home is one! Thanks for sharing your family and their work in Kenya.
Nice to meet you, Trey! I look forward to getting to know you a little while you were here in the states. So glad you got to see the snow! Isn't it fun? Thank you for all you and your wife do at the village. It's wonderful to know that there are folks that will care for the children.
We are in the mountains in Northern ca and the snow we have been getting has been record breaking. We are in our calving season limping through. So greatful God has blessed us after years of drought.
Trey has a great vibe! Must be an awesome uncle. And it was so sweet Tori talking about the Monopoly game, I was impressed at how she remembered what everyone had!
What a great personality Trey has. It’s so much fun to see family isn’t it? I miss my family. They all live in another state. Fortunately, we did not have the snow that you had. In fact we have not had snow this year… 😮Sending prayers hugs and kindness and enjoy your beautiful time with family.❤
That cup with the beads use it to put pens in and display it somewhere! That way u can see it all the time and it may not get tempted to wash it as much! ❤

C'est magnifique! Great timing! Let it snow! ❤ Special greetings for Kenya ! Welcome to America It hasn't snowed at all in Paris France this year, I miss NYC in the snow.I love snow ❤
So far we are so Blessed in the mountains of NC. We have had some snow which melted immediately. Every week ( not weekends)it has been in the high 40's and up to 60 °. Then the weekend comes and it's cold. The daffodils and forsythia are in bloom. My hope is that spring is really here. Ha. I am sure we will get dumped on soon. So we are enjoying it while it lasts.
Totally Love what you share about your Beautiful family!! I wanted to say your little doggy is so sweet with your children and adorable too. I live in southern Indiana and seen the weather forecast of the snow you was going to get. That was a very BIG snow for your city. May God bring you much joy with your cousin from Kenya and safe travels to all. Blessings!!
We’ve gotten snowed in a few times over the past month. We live in a rural area with dirt roads. Thankfully we had a Chewy delivery yesterday for our 16 indoor rescue kitties. I’ve never tried Kambucha… It didn’t even seem like we had a summer last year, it snowed in July! God Bless you all and keep you safe🙏🏻🕊✝️🌸♥️
I was born in Joliet, Illinois and lived there a whole two weeks. My parent could stand the winter and drove back to Arkansas on a solid sheet of ice. In 1967 they didn't clear the roads like today.
Thank you for mentioning the little girl with the heart problem. I have been praying for her since you first mentioned her. Was hoping you would eventually mention her a let us know about her. Will keep praying for her. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LETTING US have a update on her. Really appreciate it🙏💝💝💝
So happy ya'll have Trey visiting from Kenya. Here in the foothills of North Carolina we have not yet had even a snow flurry this winter. The Temps have been in the 60's and 70's for the past few days. Spring is in the air.
Loved the unboxing & watching the tea come up to boil although I do that several times daily at home😂). I'm Kenyan & I love watching the joy when Kenyans abroad receive stuff from home. Especially loose-leaf tea.
What a fun video! I live only 15 miles east of Danville, Il!! I loved the video of the childrens home. What a blessing Tre and his family are! Desi loves the camera!!
I never knew you were from Danville, IL! I am from Westville just south of Danville and work in Danville. That is so awesome! I love watching your family and learning with you on your homesteading journey. ❤️
my mum is 70 and has never ever seen snow, my dad saw it once in the 1960's. They have however seen lots of desert and beaches 😊 On my grandparents farm when I was growing up they just had dual purpose chooks - unless you are a business raising solely for one or the other, dual purpose breeds seem to be the best of both worlds. Have no idea of what varieties they have in the US though.
This whole vlog had me smiling and so happy!! I loved watching your cousin with the Snow!! Lol 😆 and I'm jealous of the chapati and chai!! I miss Kenya and all my Kenyan friends!!
Wow, I live about 40 minutes from Danville Ill. I go the about once every other month to visit a friend. Such a small world. I am from a large family, there are 11 of us and, my mom is from a family of 15, and my dad was oldest of a family of 9. I love large families.
My go to meal sharing is chicken enchilada casserole. I add beans rice with gauc/cheese/chips. I figure everyone will like something...lol. I do green mild sauce, corn tortilla, good for new mamas and kids.
