Nike is no where near the capacity of apple, what are you smoking lol. Apple has a future, they control a large portion of phone and computer market share. Apple makes their own hardware and software. Now they are even making their own AI chips. On the other hand Nike is just a fashion brand, it can go out of style or easily get replaced by another brand. People dont have to wear nike at all. Meanwhile, people have to use apple products.
Nobody ever talks about Nike 's exclusive deals, patents, designs, license agreement, and brand value alongside their huge research and development program. Thats what gives them their edge. They are a leader in their industry and set the bars.
I am bothered by analysts who cover stocks that have large China businesses, and who have grown by making big investments into China, when these analysts don't bother to stay up with developments in China. He has a price target of 120 and the stock is at 76. He obviously knows little to nothing of the extreme weakness of the Chinese consumer, and the growing nationalism which causes the demand that does exist to go to Chinese domestic brands. More examples of the same: Starbucks, Apple, Pepsi, Tesla, etc. All of these businesses will suffer lower revenues, but that doesn't appear to be priced in until they can no longer obscure the declines.
