- The Audi Quattro is a cult car in motorsport. It was produced by Matchbox between 1982 and 1989. I decided to convert my model into a rally car from the Monte Carlo rally, which was driven by the famous driver Walter Röhrl. The car was in a very bad condition. The body was very bent. A piece of the side window was missing. After straightening the body, I widened it with a two-component acrylic compound. I made all the decals according to photos from a real car. I changed the axles and wheels to wider ones on the model.

Do you only do matchbox restoration? Or even hot wheels? If no then can you do hot wheels restoration too?
I don't just make matchbox. I'm also renewing Corgi, Siku. I will definitely do Hot Wheels too, only for the time being I collect models and documentation for repair.

Many factors meant that the box was not created this time. On the one hand, I didn't want the movie to be too long. It's hard to choose the right model of graphics for Matchbox, and in general, I wanted to focus mainly on remaking the body in this movie. Best wishes

Todo o trabalho de restauro de uma carroceria que parecia ir para o lixo foi bem executado.
O problema é ter partido de uma base errada para fazer o S1. Devia ter escolhido a versão curta!
Para esta carroceria podia ter escolhido uma outra versão de rally, ou até mesmo a versão cliente.

Paul - have you any advice about how to repair a chip in the paintwork, of an otherwise VGC car? I have cars with one or two chips 1 or 2 mm square, but where the rest of the original paint is perfect.
I always fill the chipping area with the primer, but so that it does not come to the edge of the original paint. After it dries, I apply some paint with a brush in the form of a dot, wait for it to dry and do it again until the thickness of the varnish is the same as the original one. As a rule, it comes out very nice.
