Entertaining as always. I think that you are wasting your MGs having them on the far left and getting involved in street fighting. I used them to dominate the central avenue and to support my infantry in the park. Also, the briefing mentions German reinforcements. You might want to consider where you want to be by the time it arrives. Also, maybe use the flyboys for your final assault on the berg.
I think troops with coverd arcs ignore them if they feel threatened ie that damned aa gun. aperently the tac ai needs advanced training in judging threats and what consequences will happen if they open fire. or maybe they were regulars..trained green guys
