I think we all owe artists like Janis Ian a Big debt of gratitude for many of the issues she wrote about in songs, for having the guts to do it and for staying true to herself. Thank you so much Janis for your body of work and the way it was shared and expressed in your life so far. It ain't over yet.

She seems so humble, down to earth...and seems like a lovely person to get to know. An amazing vocalist, guitarist and songwriter. She is incredible. Thank you for posting.

Janis came over to the UK on the God and the FBI tour and I saw her for the first time and she was fantastic. Completely solo and just on the guitar - amazing talent and told lots of stories which drew you in. The venue was an old theatre with a capacity of around 600 which suited the night perfectly. I still have the thumb pick which was thrown away at the end of "Take no prisoners".

I like her thoughts on surveillance&Free speech. If she wasn't a singer she probably work for the ACLU. Protecting all including hate.I can see her today being at odds with the canceled culture that we have the past couple of decades?. Imagine a whole hour interview there was only half a sentence mentioned about her being gay. That's not much respect of an artist must have been also struggling with her orientation like we all have we're gay lesbian bisexual transgender always having to prove that we are human we deserve rights not a pedestal.. I can't believe only half the sentence that she is gay.still can't get over how she wouldn't or not allowed you dwell in it in discussion. Here is one of the most vile of all the hatreds. The hatred is much longer than racism and anti-semitism the hatred of gay people in all cultures almost all. I can't believe is there not one song and sings about the struggle and the hatred of gay people. As much as I like in since the '60s with her great song society's child. I like to find out more how deliberate and speak freely about being gay and what does it mean to her thanks again for greater interview maybe we'll have round two especially since 9/11 we have nothing but modern technology surveilling everybody. And the internet was only at its infancy in 2000. Now it's become one of the biggest monsters of surveillance. What does Janice have to say about that. You would have to revise her song God in the FBI? Just now it's just too controversial with what we got looking at our smartphones or computers and them looking back at us probably Janice where's your freedom of speech on that issue???? Thanks so much for bringing her on I hope you bring her on again thanks stay well during this pandemic hope it's all over soon
