I really like Cris Carter. Dude is just a class-act, no two-ways about it. I don't always agree with his analysis, but he ALWAYS acts like a man should.
He named 3 QB's and 2 of them were Green Bay Superbowl winning Champs! Shame he wasted his career in Minn. And Won Zero rings. But like the saying goes, You Got Mossed!
The jugs machine helps with hand eye coordination. Catching the ball and focusing on where you place your eyes for the football. Helps recievers concentrate and get alot better.
That's actually not too bad. The biggest issue would be dragging it to a field where you can use it in peacefully unless you live in the countryside. Well that's unless you wanna only use it close range.
Well considering that the first one they sold to the Baltimore Colts was $968.92 that's not too bad. They essentially paid $5818 for it adjusting for inflation.
One has been made already it carries like.6 balls I think and it moves on it's own depending what route u input and it tracks u with this little device u can wrap around ur waist and it shoots it by itself too
My high school had 2 of these, I just thought these were standard. Like you have a football program? Bring the ball throwy thing out, let's get practice started
Love these on the baseball side. Ever see a 100 mile an hour knuckleball? it's scary! We turned one up to 95 or something like that throwing a knuckler in a gym, into the mats on the wall behind the hoop. Nobody had the stones to grab a bat and try to hit it. At that speed, it didn't exactly hit the same spot on the mat each time.
Had a baseball coach that liked to send us fly balls. For grins he would sometimes dial up the same speed on both tires. A few unwary kids got hit in the face due to the knuckleball spiraling at them from the sky.
They should make it like a turret so the feeder can also aim it in real time. Really test those reflexes when the folks on the other end don't know where the ball is going to be.
I got one of these (for baseball) and it's all that they say it is. The main reason however, was because no other machine known to man could throw a knuckleball. I tried to build one where a single chain would move both wheels at the same exact speed. Though it worked it only threw about 30 mph. This machine, with both wheels maxed at 100, throws 108 mph knuckleball. Can't think of a human being capable of hitting one of those.
Notice how the greatest practice tool in football came from baseball, just like, footballs best qb rn, pat mahomes has a big baseball background and the greatest qb, tb12 was drafted to the expos. Food for thought

Chris Carter is a racist.
@@TexWatson-sh8vf racist how so
Need a fall guy. Real class act.
Lmao is it classy to have someone take the blame for you when you break the law and get caught?
Love hearing “Antonio Brown with the Pittsburgh Steelers” nowadays
Riley Breaux the madden course did something different than usual this year
Karma IKR.
He’s looking pretty good in TB.
@M LOLLL

Best ad ever
Those things could probably have better NFL careers than Blake Bortles
Deandre Is The G.O.A.T bortles is the next big thing idk what u talking about
Deandre Is The G.O.A.T as a titans fan, I love you and that comment 😂
Bortles sure, but how about the GOAT Nathan Peterman?
Peterman is a definite hall of gamer
*famer
Chris Carter was beyond his time with those catches!
I've been addicted to jugs all my life
I want one but they are like $1,000
Pretty cheap for a thing that NFL teams use. I thought it was worth around $5,000
That's actually not too bad. The biggest issue would be dragging it to a field where you can use it in peacefully unless you live in the countryside. Well that's unless you wanna only use it close range.
No a little less than 3000
Try 2800
Well considering that the first one they sold to the Baltimore Colts was $968.92 that's not too bad.

Laquan Treadwell, are you watching this? I expect you on the Jugs machine ASAP!
he posted a video of him catching on one a couple days ago
Tune in next week to see how the humble lawnmower changed the game of football forever!
Lmao
Hahahaha
it's now how fast you mow, it's how well you mow fast
Or how Astro turf ended the lawnmowers career lol
Damn I never played a down of real football in my life but I think I need to get a Jugs machine after seeing this.
I’m surprised they don’t have it set up so someone doesn’t have to be there loading them
That was my thought too, they're probably working on a version of that.
One has been made already it carries like.6 balls I think and it moves on it's own depending what route u input and it tracks u with this little device u can wrap around ur waist and it shoots it by itself too
J 671 where do you get it?
@@fast6232 no idea but there is a video of it on UA-cam
Nah recipe for disaster... Jug machine could be possessed by the spirit of an angry ex NFL player and start knocking guys out "randomly".
I'm all for the jugs! And these machines too
Yeah, I have a real appreciation for jugs. I couldn’t care less about that machine that shoots footballs, though.
I think my field hockey coach used to “borrow” one of those from the football team. It made it much less scary to get hard shots on goal.
Lightaflamethrower probably was the baseball teams based on the size of the ball
great video i love reading/watching stuff about nfl history
My high school had 2 of these, I just thought these were standard. Like you have a football program? Bring the ball throwy thing out, let's get practice started
It would be dope if they make little tracker bracelets so Jug could follow the WR route.
Idk bout the jug machine, but a huge set of Jugs have made me the perv I am today! “Catching the Jugs”! Best quote EVER🤙🏾
I started loving jugs when I was just a baby, still can't get enough.
Butch Palsen made Chris Cater a hall famer. Not just Chris carter but many more
If you’re reading this have a nice day🤟🏾
U 2
Thanx Robert 🤙
You too!
you too man
Thank you dawg
Whoever edited this video. You did a excellent job.
A nice set of Jugs has shaped my life for the better
We had one in my high school. Whoa that ball comes at you fast and hard😂👐
We use to set up the jugs machine about 45 feet away and throw at 65mph for BP ...used these for years in baseball
3:32 I also have always been addicted to JUGS!
It's just like a pitching machine for batting cages. We used those a lot for Baseball in the early 80's.
Once the cowboys run out of QB’s this year, the jug machine is going to start.
5:48 music from spongebob
Actually Spongebob used NFL Films music.
Spongebob got lot's of their hero music from NFL clips, but TNT's sports channel stole music from Kingdom Hearts xD
lol
6:05
no one:
Aaron Donald: ahh
Fitst get back coach now this? This channel is turning educational and I'm liking it.
I wish i could afford one of these so i dont need to have my dad throw me the when i need to practice, my dad throws so bad i throw to myself now lol.
Make a GoFundMe
Stay playing catch with pops no matter how terrible he is, its good for you and him
Mine refused to throw or catch the ball. He was a wall
You only get one dad. Enjoy it now. One day youd do anything to play catch with your dad no matter how bad his throwing is.
What takes more skill? Catching bad passes or passes right on the numbers?
Crazy to learn that the machine that revolutionized NFL training is produced 40 minutes from my house...
I like the Spongebob music.
It’s almost like spongebob used music commissioned by the NFL
The nfl were using the music way before spongebob even existed
So cool to ALWAYS see a former Ohio State Buckeye make it to the Hall of Fame. Thank you Cris for helping to continue to make the game better.
My dream to own a Jugs machine would never stop using it if i had it🙏💯
Sorry, prices went up ....it's now $3, 499.00
No it isn’t lol, it’s $2,700 with their current 10% off spring deal & free shipoing
Damn that Chris Carson bit was the TRUTH
Aaron Donald: Chicken Fingeeers!
Im dead😂
Bloody amazing. The highlights at the end almost ruined my noFap November
0:21 Anyone know the name of the shaker device he's using? One of the not so successful ideas I reckon.
Ah, it's called the Shake Weight. And the Jets were doing a spoof of it. See, "New York Jets take the Shake Weight Challenge"

We use something very similar in cricket to practice batting.
Jugs machine *exists*
Quarterbacks: am i joke to you
The jug machine is awesome. #NFL#NFLFLIMS#FOOTBALL
Best qb in the history of NFL. MR Jugs.
0:22 I know why he’s so good at that
Yo itz Alex bruhv
I really just watched a 7:02 long commercial for something I will probably never be able to afford
Cris Carter is the original OBJ
Anyone know what the machine is called?
If I had a nickel for everything somebody invented on a cocktail napkin....
New Title: The history of the Jugs machine as well as a Chris Carter highlight tape.
Nice film
Had something similar in our tennis equipment...
Fantastic to find your technique quickly
Not the “Jugs” that come to mind first!! 😩😂😂😂
should've had Cris go to the Jugs factory and interview the CEO himself
0:30. That nice indoor practice facility for the bungals.
Yah dude with that Beckham catch at the end so many other great catch Enders
I liked Chris' comments, 'I've seen that ball before, I've caught that ball hundreds of times before...'
In an alternate universe, I am the QB of the Baltimore Ravens and I use this on the field.
Had a baseball coach that liked to send us fly balls. For grins he would sometimes dial up the same speed on both tires. A few unwary kids got hit in the face due to the knuckleball spiraling at them from the sky.
Steve Largeant: Jugs machine for catching footballs?
All other NFL receivers: Better wear some gloves Steve.
Steve Largeant: Hold my jock
Cris Carter Vikings Legend HOF WR did a bunch of One Handed catches too in the 90s
Wish I had one
I've always wanted a jug machine but could never afford it
Jugs incorporated in my backyard and I never knew it. Jugs Baby!
Love this video

Cool video. More respect for ChrisC! Thanks!
Thanks for the interesting video
0:10 looks like e Honda 😭
Even engram needs to spend the entire off season with the jugs machine

This looks like a machine from the 1980s. It must have a great patent because no one has build a better contraption.
Aron Donald’s comment😂👏🏼 min 6:06
0:22 lmaooooo
I heard that is how one of Stuart scotts eyes went crooked, not sure about the other one. May he rip, great man
I’ve seen these machines forever and had no idea they were I’m manufactured in the town less than 3 miles away from where I live
Designed on a cocktail napkin? Napkin engineering at its finest.
Former Sportscenter anchor Stuart Scott had his eye injured by a Jugs machine at a New York Jets preseason practice.
I just learned and heard about this machine
I remember use it these in t ball bc no one could pitch so we used that and it hit me right in face and got abloom blister
That explains a lot of the crazy catches
Still dropping mad balls every year
Please someone help me out what was the one thing called where that guy would throw a football attached to a string and he would catch it.
Ironically it's called "No Strings Attached"
QUALITY CONTENT!!!!!!!
Just took a pitching machine and turned it into a football machine 😂
Ty butteris yeah they stated that in the video so good observation skills
Surprised Chris didn’t make fun of nick in this
Are there any receivers that play without gloves?
Ah the story of jugs making men. A tale as old as time.
That speech by carter was oddly inspirational
I wish i had a jugs machine of my own
Carter sold me, I just ordered one and I only play football on Madden for my phone.
6:05 Aaron Donald acting like a lil kid 💀💀

Minnesota definitely knew how to pick their receivers that's for sure
Best infomercial ever
That boy spice 0:26 lol
@5:52 SOOOOO FUNNNNY!!!! HAHAHAHAHA
Let's go Lamar. Keep it up. So fun to see a young man running around having fun! Congrats!
What straight man wouldn't love a jugs machine?
