Cons of the BENGOO Kotion Each G9000:
- Microphone quality is mid level. I found the audio to be flat and a little hard to understand. The volume level was also low, so I recommend adjusting it
- The G900 headphones are a little large. I found them to be loose on my head at the lowest size size. I have a large head.
- Not very much slack between the audio cables and USB cables. - - - This could be a problem if you plan to use the headphones with a console but still want to power the LED lights.

I've had these for over 2 yrs now and I love them. I used them not only when gaming but I've also used them with my cell phone. They are extremely comfortable if using for long periods at a time. Thank you for your review. I was searching to find out if the mic was noise cancelling or if I would definitely need to switch to a usb powered headset/mic combo for working at home.

I own these. Quite frankly they are good for their price, but the quality of the microphone feels cheap and sounds quiet. If you are a streamer or gamer, I would recommend other headsets. However. they are extremely comfortable and produce great audio. For the price you can't complain, they are awesome.

I have the G2000 which seem to be practically identical and same price on my local stores
The speakers are okay, they sound almost "damp" compared to the premium headsets I had before such as the SteelSeries Siberia Elite, but nothing you can't get used to in a few days or even hours
These are the only pair of headphones I've had that didn't violently break at some point, I had over 2-3 pairs of the Siberia Elite that all broke in the same place ( plastic snapped around the earmuff / speaker ), and about 5 pairs of a variety of cheaper ($40+) headsets that all broke as well. No i wasn't playing tennis with them or anything, just everyday use on my copious amounts of hair
That being said after about 3-4 years of use, the cable is completely frayed through and the wires are exposed - my right speaker works 100% of the time while the left only works at angles, however I believe the mic also works 100% of the time so far despite the damage
as for "no tangle" i'm not so sure, perhaps i've trained the cables through long use in the same position, but it's definitely prone to almost statically tangling itself but no where near as bad as regular cables
The comfort is good enough, not as soft or as light as my old SteelSeries ones - after a few hours I need a few minutes for my ears to breathe but by no means the most uncomfortable headphones i've ever worn
The mic is really good, WITH configuration, the plug n play default settings have almost always been completely unusable for me. That being said, with RealTek audio drivers "enhancements" are available in the devices properties, and with the proper balance of echo cancellation, volume, and mic boost (key is to increase mic boost aka sensitivity, and lower volume, so you're heard more clearly but not deafening) IMO the mic is one of the best i've ever had, including compared to my SteelSeries $200-300 mic which I was immensely disappointed with (i could never configure it well enough to be good IMO)
I don't know the differences between the g2000 and the g9000 as like i said, they seem to be identical EXCEPT for the fact that my g2000s have separate speaker and mic cables, and I can use a joiner to use them on phone, laptop and controllers.
I prefer audio and mic split due to being able to configure them a bit easier.
Purely due to the good mic (configured correctly) and the 4 or so years it's lasted me, I'll probably replace them with the exact same model
Good video, I came here looking to see if there were any major differences between this model and my g2000 but the input pins seem to be the only one - nice and short video with good editing and a mic test is always important - i find it funny when people review headsets but don't include one.

Universe Gamer - how are they for fortnite? Do they work well? Are you able to hear the footsteps properly + what about the shooting sound? Is it normal or sort of weird?
@@imanfarhann yes they work really well. Yes you can hear footsteps very clearly. And you can hear gun shots from pretty far away. The mic is really nice. Altho it makes you sound like a year younger than you should be. They are really soft the top wont hurt your head after an hour like other headphones and the part that goes over your ear is soft too. and the audio is very good

After about 3 to 4 years mine just broke. I mean all audio just stopped but the mic still works. For being so cheap and the audio definitely not being bad and on a good side. Its worth it if you want a really cheap headset thats good from my experience

They were good with music, and also could make high and low sounds quite well. Not the best but good. They were good with music and movies as well from my experience. Who knows though, i might have just gotten a really good pair by luck
One problem i did see a few times is when too many different sounds came into play and all the sounds were loud. They end up cutting out but i think thats actually normal from what i know with even top mics and computer rigs(take the game "from the depth")!. That was one 1 of 3 problems i had. The other is after so many years i guess the wires were bent and all and thats what caused the audio to die cs of a bad wire im guessing. However after 4 years thats good! The last problem idk if it was the games but im adding it just in case. On ps4 on planetside 2(free game) the mic just didnt work. I could hear everything fine but couldn't talk at all. Why idk it just stopped after a update 3 years ago but it never effected me cs i would just join party with friends. I think thats just the game tho.
Once again i recommend these from my experience. Very cheap but very good bang for buck!

Are you using Discord ? I had the problem when I used in game voice channel but shifting to Discord fixed it for me. If you use team speak then there is a voice or audio playback option that u can change and it fixes the problem aswell.

@@Littleaphoenix depends, mine always echoed really bad because of the leaking sound, so i fixed it with adjusting the volume that plays through my headset, both through the settings on X1 and in game (fortnite). if lowering the headset volume doesnt fix your issue you need the adapter which doesnt come cheap. Ill put an amazon link in a lower comment.
my advice is play with the volume thru headset settings and also make sure your TV is muted so it doesnt get picked up by the mic which is omnidirectional so it picks up sound from all around it not just in front of it where the microphone hole is. if all that doesnt work, get this adapter:
We couldn't get it to work. The xbox wouldn't recofnise it was plugged in. The settings didn't show up to adjust anything. His controller has the plug for it already. What would the adapt do?
@@Littleaphoenix If the XB1 doesnt recognize its plugged in with that headset its probably the 3.5mm Headphone jack on the controller that doesnt work anymore. The adapter plugs into the USB port on the controller and provides another way to plug in a wired headset and use it as stereo instead of mono.
plug in another headset to the controller and see if the xb1 recognizes it and puts sound through it. if it doesnt then its the controller and you should either get a new controller altogether or a the adapter, honestly theyre almost the same price! If the other headphones do work for sound then its the Kotion each headset so contact the seller and get a new one if youre within the return dates/warranty!

if you are using Win10, just click on the circle to the right of the 'SEARCHBOX' on your taskbar to activate Cortana. Ask her something like, "Cortana, when were you born? Solution courtesy of: appuals.com
Solution 1: Turn on the Microphone in Windows 10 Settings
First, we will check if the microphone is even turned on through the settings. If it disabled, you can easily enable it and check if your problem gets solved.
1. Press Win + I to open the Settings.
2. Now select the Privacy option present at the middle right side of the window.
3. Click the Microphone tab present at the left side of the screen.
4. Now turn on the microphone in the right section. You could also enable or disable apps to use the mic.

i got that headset and the mic and sound sound great for the money to replace my broken/falling apart corsair Bluetooth headset but my hyeadset dosent have a silver tag on the cable
