I have noticed the same new darkness in Shaded Biscuit. I like your new color much better. I will order my next one in Iced Sweet Cream. Thank you for addressing this topic. Consistency in coloring seems to be a problem for Raquel Welch wigs of late. My favorite synthetic color has been Glazed Vanilla. The same issue happened with Whisper. I can't even wear it, and should have returned it! Aggravating.

May seem a strange question but how do you avoid getting makeup onto the wig when putting it on? How do the RW wigs compare with Jon Renau sizewise? Thanks for your help.
I've tried a couple of wigs but haven't got it quite right yet! There's been a lot more to learn about wig wearing and care than I'd ever imagined. I'm learning these longer styles, though they do look lovely, are not for me. I prefer the sassy pixie cuts that require minimal maintenance. Would you agree most people are almost certain to make some mistakes initially?
Definitely, I spent hours watching and researching things about wigs before I ever bought one, I started with cheaper Noriko wigs which are great quality but they didn't have the lace front, I still wear the Jackson by Noriko which is lovely xoxo

Mishap I washed my new Ellen wille sunset wig in sensitive baby washing liquid then soaked for few mins in fabric softener and rinsed, shook out and dried on a plastic wig stand like yours and it looks greasy now it’s dried and feels like it’s got loads of product in it, I’ve only had it a week!!! What have I done wrong?

I'm a natural blonde transitioning to grey. The rooted blonde shades look awful on me, the roots are far far darker than my hair has ever been and somehow it just doesn't look right. I think skin tone plays a big part.
Yup. I don't know whats happening with these dirty looking, muted colour blonde variances in RW.. ive seen it in other reviews too. I've also just had the same issue with Jon Renau Palm Springs Blonde.. the wig i received (new release style, so not old stock either) is not like the usual, lovely PSB colour. It has this wide, very dark root, which abruptly finishes in a stark line, and then the blonde has that same muddy cast to it. Of course, it's a waste of time trying to send anything back because the manufacturer's allow for 'slight' differences. They won't accept them as faulty. Maybe there's a problem with the dyes they're using? Still, for the money we spend, everything should be correct.
You are right. I think that all these companies are having supply issues because of Covid and maybe using different factories in different countries and that is where the color differences come from, I can't see any other reason for it. xoxo
If On Point had a mono side part it would be my dream wig. Current Events' cap size is way too small for my head. The lack of permatease and hair density makes it lay flat.
I agree! Love the style of On Point but the middle part is a no go. I might get Current Events and have it razored some on the ends to cut out some of the bulk. I’m sad to see fewer full monotop wigs these days- everyone is coming out with mono part styles it seems. 🙁
Love your wig reviews. Rachel Welsh has been my favorite go to but I recently bought a Belle Tress which I really like. The wigs on the video are all nice but I don't think I could stand the hair falling in my face.

Love your wig reviews. Rachel Welsh has been my favorite go to but I recently bought a Belle Tress which I really like. The wigs on the video are all nice but I don't think I could stand the hair falling in my face.
You can use a bit of heat to train the wig to not fall in your face (fast-moving blow dryer, steamer, or hot brush). Works like a charm!

Can't answer for Nisha but lots of women wear wigs as a fashion accessory these days. There are so many beautiful styles and colours you can have a whole wardrobe of alternative hairstyles.
I think that is a fab colour on you... I'm not happy with the new shaded biscuit either it looks so dull by comparison... Why do they change things its soooo annoying.....
