I bought the cassette version of this album in 1990. This song did not appear for some reason. What a great, great, song.

This brings back memoris, it was released as a "b" side of the single Dirty Deeds, it wasnt on the album. Well I like Joans take on this Stones song, for mor than 20 or so years. Thx for posting this video up., be well.
I saw exile on main street July 4 72 in DC stadium. The Runaways tpkyo tour and the Blackhearts tour ongoing now has always made the stone's looking like beggars looking for a banquet! I must admit 1972 concert tickets were 7.50 for the stones, and Stevie wonder opened and a gospel singer opened for him, Rh stones came on at 900 pm and played until 1012 om and didn't come back! We stood in line frpr three days back then skipping school taking shifts between 6 of us.l etc The Stones are fine, they just disappointed the crowd during those days all burning fingers wth bic lighters, Stevie brought down the house and one beach ball being boiunced through 55000 people! I will say for a promo tour, little of Exile was played, but Midnight Rambler was unforgettable. and the Wash DC version may be on you tube, Oh those were the days and Joanie Sympathy would be a kick ass song for you I feel it! Anyone at that concert, remember carole king Tapestry album and the beach ball Hot day the 4th of july 72. got a metal coleman cooler shoved through a turnstile with me and cut the front of my jeans off. I had to take off my white with orange piping muscle man shirt to cover up, I didn't get cut that amazed me, but the wine made us feel no pain! And a special thanks to the amorous couple in front of us who shared their Chianti with their pals the ro behind. I don't think wine was on their mind so we helped lift a burden from their shoulders We weee mezzanine level as the Washington Senators may have played their last game there but the Redskins still rocked DC Stadium lights flashing for rambler about 13 minutes long. what they did play from exile kicked ass, but it was the shortest concert I had ever been to Let it Bleed from their 1969 release!

I had this on a b side of a cassette back on 1990 side a was dirty deeds, Joan is great covering the stones, well anyone. This is one of the few cases i prefer the original version over Joans still good though.
