Greetings from Vancouver and hope you're keeping warm. This was quite a unique and wonderful place to visit. Really glad to get to experience and share the sushi buffet.
Are you in the Philippines? If you are, I would highly recommend it. It's very very high quality and I have no hesitation on eating any of the raw foods there. Done so well and so elegantly.
@@chicagochris1988Not happening. Because Tim is willing to go ANYWHERE!!! He does an Excellent job of finding"CUT SPOTS" to visit. Not only around the country, but around the World.

Awesome video as always Tim! I really love Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese - all Asian foods - probably my absolute favorite! Best wishes from Germany😎🤙🏼
Tim, that is the most artistically decorated buffet I’ve ever seen. Thank you for sharing the beautifully prepared food with us. Everything looked too delicious. Be safe and enjoy, glad you made it home.❤
What a glorious episode. I love your description of all the dishes. And your appreciation of the remarkable interior. I am enjoying your mini vacation!
Love how Tim gives a better spoken review in the 2 minute intro than some channels do in their entire discography. Then proceeds to literally transport us to Manila with the wildly immersive tour and tasting! 😭🙏💕
Hello again tim. You won't get lost just look for the beautiful tree. I love wood carvings and the smell of wood at a wood carvings workshop. ❤ I was so worried you were going to get your fish and skewers to your table. Panic over the server is going to cook them phew!
It was such a beautiful place. Such a Grand Buffet and not only is the interior beautiful but the food was delicious too. Oh, the cooks did a fantastic job on all the items
TIM, yet again you take us to an amazing buffet. I am in awe of the very tasty looking foods. There isn't enough space here to name what would be my favorite. Gurand w ink, Softshell crab sushi mnnn, Oxtail ahh, tempora. Australian Waygu w peppercorn gravy tasty looking, seabass roasted succulent. The naked beige 'bonsai' tree over your shoulder quite interesting in an exquisite setting. Pistachio ice cream wow. Best
I was really impressed as well. Everything they did were done with so much detail and very high quality ingredients. Especially with the sushi and some raw items, the high quality ingredients they use was quite reassuring 😃
Good morning/good evening Tim. I'm sure you're glad to be home and sleeping on your own bed. There's nothing like home even though traveling sometimes is nice. You get to relax and have fun without any home chores. Thank you for sharing your journeys. Okura looks amazing. Japanese Food is my second favorite food. I love sushi, sashimi and tempura. Everything looks good😋I can't wait to try that place one of this days. Soft shell crab is one of my favorite seafood. Used to buy them all the time when they are in season and cook them myself. Just cleaned them and drenched them lightly with tempura flour and fry them with butter, garlic and parsley till a little bit crispy. Eat them with a squeeze of lemon. Hamachi kama or collar is great. It's also one of my favorite with ponzu sauce and Japanese rice😋so good and yummy. Just thinking of all that great food is making me hungry. I love Chilean sea bass, not all sea bass have that great taste of Chilean sea bass. Chilean sea bass have that marbling of fat that makes it a little bit fatty but very tasty. I envy you because you are able to experience to eat all these great food. GONG XI FA CAI 🎉🎉🎉 Bon appetit 😋😋😋
Thank you so much and I must say the description of how you prepare the soft shell crabs are making me very hungry... And I like your recipe much better. Really enjoyable there and a beautiful place. By the way what's your first favorite food?
@TimLeeLetsGo I love French food. I love all that butter and cream. French food is very rich and their presentation is always great. When I was in France I fell in love with foie gras, escargot and sweet bread. I loved the French cuisine a lot and their pastries are out of this world. Even though their food is very rich, you don't see that many fat French people around.
What a beautiful and elegant buffet, not to mention the wonderful quality food served and free flowing wine. What an experience. This is Deffenitely one of the *best* for sure. Thanks for sharing Tim. 👍
I’m just going to say your inspiration for the way I’m feeling right about you and your relationship with foods 💯🤘🏼👏🏼👍🏼 ! Excellence in the way you bring it 😊🥰💯🎯 ! Happy Lunar New Year 🧧 sir .
Wow the entrance was just amazing. Yes I agree quality over quantity on this Buffet. The most impressive thing though was you remembering everyone's name after all those drinks 🤪
While you're sharing with us those luxurious dishes, I happen to catch you as I'm eating a dinner of Lobster Bisque and French toast on the side. And what a beautiful place
I have never seen you eat so much seafood. There are so many great buffets in Asia; I can't wait to go there. Tim, do you have any suggestions for brunch in Vancouver for the lunar new year?
They did a great job with their seafood for sure and everything was very high quality. I would not hesitate on any of the sushi sashimi or raw items there. There's not too much in Vancouver and I'm really trying to look for something as well. They do have a nice Buffet at the Hyatt and at the pan pacific, though they do get a bit pricey during the lunar New Year
Thanks Tim, was planning on a Manila Airport stay for a few days later this year... This one rounds out my buffet short list... lol... (Kisetsu, Viking, Spiral)...
Hi, Tim!! Happy Lunar New Year 🧧 I'm always excited when I can try something new and I was at HMart this weekend and picked up a treat...it turned out to be candied water chestnuts and they're wonderful 😊. This looked like a wonderful buffet... I'll definitely take quality over quantity. I don't think I've seen softshell crab on a buffet before...now THAT'S a treat!! Can't wait to see what 2025 has in store for you, but I'm looking forward to it. 🥰
What a lovely quiet place. Sashimi did look amazing, even on camera. Here on a cold evening sipping Chardonnay with you. Now if I only had some lovely fish. (and I ate dinner). Fun watching you put items in that tiny dessert jar while holding a camera. Blessings from frosty Oregon.
Tim, thank you for your work. Been following you for a while now. Which one would you prefer for a family dinner. Ilang-Ilang at Manila hotel or Hotel Okuras buffet?
Oh, for a family dinner with kids, the Manila Hotel would be very good because there is a lot of stations and dishes there. That's very enjoyable and very good quality, but if it's a small family with adults, the Okura is worth a visit because the ingredients are very high quality but not as much quantity and more of a quiet environment

If only we could jump through our TV screens and join you. The food looks amazing and delicious! The hamachi collar is my favorite, too. My family and I went to a sushi restaurant one day for dinner, and we asked for it even though it wasn't on the menu and they made it for us.

Oh just back home in Vancouver enjoying the cold
@ welcome home!
You don't have to worry about carbs at a buffet if you eat only meat with all the goodness of fat and or seafood or both.
Why do they chill their red wines???
It is hot in the Philippines and if you serve red wine room temperature they will taste like vinegar.
@m8tyone i could understand if its served outside...but in a fancy buffet??? and wine only taste like vinegar if its stored improperly..
It was just slightly chilled... The places even with air conditioning in the Philippines are a bit humid so hence there's a bit of sweat on the glass
@TimLeeLetsGo oh..ok...because red wine chilled tastes like garbage... room temp around 75°F is perfect.
