But the more I listened to it, I changed my opinion and now i think it's definitely not a top tier album. All of you who think that should go back to listening to Eversince, Red light etc and then you realise just how much better those albums were. The songs just don't stand up to his best older songs, especially after you've listened to them a fair few times.
I love gluee so much just because I remember when it came out, and like I find it to be a mastery of his older aesthetic and what he was going for back then as opposed to ever since or the newer stuff, like its dystopian its alien, it's just weird and it just makes me love it for being that way, and tracks like Ebay and everlasting flames are just so perfect to me yknow
Makes perfect sense. Like I said I think if I’d heard it when it dropped I would’ve liked it more. There are great tracks on it, in reality it’s like a C-tier for me but I wanted to fill out the whole list haha
red light sounds lazy and working on dying gives off a moody and pissed off vibe where bladee is done feeling sad about himself and is cranking out bangers and icedancer is just a whole lotta bangers with some sad songs at the end
alright so I respect your opinion of putting it at the bottom of the list, but I personally think Gluee is actually Bladee's best project. The appeal to me is its pure atmosphere. It is definitely the most lo-fi Bladee project, but I think the sound of the album feels both very childish (in a good way) and very trippy. There are so many amazing moments to it. Deletee feels like floating through the gates of heaven and seeing this infinite ethereal city outstretched out in front of you. Safehouse is to me Bladee's most badass song. While it's one of the few hype moments on the album, his last verse in this song ABSOLUTELY delivers on that front. Ecco2K's verse on Ebay is fucking amazing, and the proceeding atmosphere-laden breakdown takes me to another place entirely. The moment on Shadowface where BONES comes with his deadpan delivery to utterly drain you is honestly the best thing I've ever heard BONES do. Everlasting Flames is chaotic, and it's good, but what makes it even better is the utter feeling of solace you get when it transitions into Freeze and you hear those dream-like melodies on that psychedelic synth. And then there's Unreal. At first I really didn't like this song. But I've come around to really understand it to be one of my favorite tracks on the album. It's probably the most deadpan-feeling track on the whole album. Not just because of Bladee's delivery, but also because of the muted and sleepy-sounding synths used. But the atmosphere here is at its peak. I can't really explain the emotion i get listening to it well, it's kinda like spending so much time inside a chlorine-drenched hot tub for a long time that you get hazy, and the fumes somehow start to make you trip out even though they should just be water vapor. It's well, unreal. I can totally understand your criticism of this album. Bladee's vocals and flows on this album do definitely feel a lot more amateur than his later endeavors (his voice cracking on Deletee, lol). For me this adds to the DIY atmosphere of the project, but I can see it being a turnoff. It's also Bladee's most slow and deadpan project. But for me, it's just pure vibes all the way throughout. Never thought I'd be writing a whole-ass essay on a Bladee album, lmao
I get why you wouldn't like gluee, it's probably my least favourite bladee project too, but it's nothing like yung lean lol. Sortof agree w rest i would of put WOD higher

Gettin to 2k ! Congrats man.
Updated version ? New bladee releases ?
Everybody gotta accept the fact that eversince is a god-tier album
Agreed on the whole list man. Gluee is just unrefined and I think we should all come to appreciate how much he's grown as an artist in the last years.
333 was when it clicked for me
The reasons you listed for disliking gluee are why I love spaceghostpurrp
To each their own
333 is my first bladee album, i love it so much, red light is my second fave, I like gluee too. still need to check out eversince.
Wrong
I do love "eversince" so much
You don't understand Working On Dying and the tread sound 🙁 How can you call it a shitty icedancer when they are completely different😪
alright so I respect your opinion of putting it at the bottom of the list, but I personally think Gluee is actually Bladee's best project.
Never thought I'd be writing a whole-ass essay on a Bladee album, lmao
working on dying is the best album of all time
not even sure how you're comparing WODG to icedancer they literally don't sound similar whatsoever
