I got emotional hearing that Sarah introduced her kids to buffy during quarantine, I did the exact same thing with my 8 year old daughter and she is also hooked 🥰 she will be dressing as spike for Halloween 😅
It must be so awesome for Sarah's children to see their mom as a hero in their everyday lives, and then view her kicking ass on screen in the 90s! They should brace themselves for season 6, though. :-/

I'm currently rewatching Buffy, with my boyfriend, who is watching it for the first time, and he LOVES it. We are almost done with season 4. He's learning all about how Joss likes to rip our hearts out... I'm just patiently waiting until we get to The Body episode. Anyway, my 2 cents on remaking Buffy, which is a topic that come up often: I think most people are in agreement that it really doesn't need to be done. But if they want to do a show about a Slayer, they should make one based on the comic Joss created called Fray. It's a good story, set in the future, and takes it in a bit of a different direction.
I would love to see a series about Fray, but I'm also VERY interested in a series about Nikki Wood. They gave us just a taste of what she was like and I'm dying to know more.

If they made a Six Degrees of Buffy you'd see how many people appeared on this show and went on to do other things. Angel, LOST, Smallville, etc. If they do you make a new show she should reprise her role and mentor the new slayers. Basically, she'd be a Watcher.
I know there was some stuff in the comic books but I would have liked to see more about the order of the slayers after they unlocked all the slayers in season 7. I know they kind of alluded to it a bit on Angel.
In the early 2000's I was in my 40's and working a late shift in a major warehouse. I got home at about 9 AM and Buffy came on at 10. I watched one a day (weekdays) for a year or so, pretty much the first four seasons. I've been a hard core Buffy and SMG fan ever since then. Buffy Forever! ❤

You nailed it. Alyson Hannigan said Sarah was over the show after the third year. She was more interested in her film career and often acted annoyed with the show. It wasn’t until years later that she gained an appreciation for the show. But you have to admire the fact that she acted the hell out of that role even though she wanted to move on.
E K Alyson cleaned it up and said that Sarah was just exhausted as she had to learn her martial arts choreography and her lines while working 18 hours days. Visiting daughter and family in Brisbane, and I was taken aback when my 13yo granddaughter declared she did not know who Buffy the Vampire Slayer was. She could not stop laughing at the vampires throughout S1E1. She did watch E2 and got into the story more and stifled her laughter.
I just restarted the buffy series with my fiancé. I watched the show as a kid with my mom and I watched 2 or 3 more times. Now I'm 27 and watching it again. Its probably my favorite show. I am sad though that I feel like the buffy and angel series ended to soon. But I think I might get the comics to see what could of happened. Might get some more closure out of it I think.

She looks fantastic. I'm still obsessed with Buffy, I know she has moved on but I haven't lol. I love her and Freddy and still together and she's just enjoying being a mother. That's great.

Never a Better Show EVER! The writing is so superlative. Buffy taught so many life lessons!!! When My daughters get anxious and afraid of a life situation WE QUOTE THE EPISODE FEAR ITSELF! Wow, I was half my age when the show first started. I remember being upset Kristy Swanson wasn't going to star in it. I got over that during the first episodes opening credits.

Visiting daughter and family in Brisbane, and I was taken aback when my 13yo granddaughter declared she did not know who Buffy the Vampire Slayer was. She could not stop laughing at the vampires throughout S1E1. She did watch E2 and got into the story more and stifled her laughter.

I just restarted the buffy series with my fiancé. I watched the show as a kid with my mom and I watched 2 or 3 more times. Now I'm 27 and watching it again. Its probably my favorite show. I am sad though that I feel like the buffy and angel series ended to soon. But I think I might get the comics to see what could of happened. Might get some more closure out of it I think.
