I said the same thing to my fiance earlier. Most of the ads Jagex does are meh at best. Especially the ones that show the game itself and aren't using pop culture meme templates (I do enjoy those ones) But if Jagex used more of this exact style for their advertisements, especially after we get the HD update, I really think it could steal over many of the MMO players that refuse to play on the simple basis of graphics or point-and-click style. Doing this style but showcasing either Theatre of Blood or Tombs of Amascut with all of the Woox-Walking techniques or Safety Dance type mechanics would really show off the beauty of this game. Show the new players what it feels like from the perspective of the end-game player. Not what the screen actually shows. It's like when you roll a Nat 20 in DnD when the BBEG only had 1 HP left anyways, but the DM says the famous, "So how do you want to do this," line. TLDR; Jagex doesn't need to sell the game. They need to sell the player fantasy.
