This radio is very appealing looking radio. I am an medium wave dx'er. I wonder how this radio stacks up on dynamic range,image rejection, spurious signal rejection on all bands?How does it compare to the Drake SPR-4 and R8B in this regards?A owner of the HRO 500 said to make sure that the preselctor is tuned properly otherswise you will have issues with images etc. from strong local stations. I wish National would put a noise blanker built in to the radio. The PBT should be operable in all banwidth settings;not just in the 2.5 khz postion.

Does it actually tune down to DC (0 Hz)?
