Loving these videos. This one not so much. So I know how fanning works. I also know that this video does not do it justice!! At the very least a fanning video should introduce fanning on pan with a mirror to create cohesive visually appealing looks... for instance your explanation using the three colors could easily been done more predictably using grouping and pallets. An intro to fanning is more useful when exposed as a tool to fan values gradually and not in a stepwise manner and not used to make questionable looking color fans.
