Whoa that APS would murder any dismounted infantry around the tank. The reactive armor looks really cool though
Agreed. It is pretty cool concept that I think would work, but it might be very damaging to everything around it.
On a side note, is it plausible that reactive armor can be set of by small arms fire or auto cannon?

Didn't seem to do any good for them against rockets made from 1950s... as seen by the dozens of Destroyed Bulat tanks (for Nozh-2)..
I am curious about specifications of Duplet ERA vs. Malachit ERA (or even Relikt ERA).
We'll just have to see. Azov Tank Battalion got themselves some new T-64B1M Tanks which has both Duplet-ERA and Nozh-2 ERA, Zaslon APS with Varta Counter-measures, so we'll see it's effectiveness shortly when they begin their third offensive.

I don't get why Ukrainian army and national guard haven't equipped their Zaslon hard kill active protection sytem to their T-84 Oplot-M, T-80U, T-64BM/BV/B, T-72M1, BMP-1/2, BTR-3, and BTR-4? Oh wait I forgot! The Russian been giving the Pro Russian rebel the RPG-30 anti APS to destroyed Ukrainian armored ground vehicles.
Putin and Russia are worry that Ukrainian ground vehicles are being equipped Zaslon hard kill APS to protect and destroying incoming RPG, ATGM, and projectiles. They decided to give Pro Russian rebel the RPG-30 anti APS to encounter it. Soon later Ukrainian military are gonna equipped best weapons from NATO to pounded those Pro Russian rebels. Russia love to steal another nations land so it could bring back it's communist piece of shit empire all over again. Well Putin, that ain't gonna happen because your just a ball headed bastard.

Rpg-30 is always counter APS do you even know how RPG-30 COUNTER APS??? well they used decoy rockets to trick the radar if the APS that s it, didn't you see the tank is all covered with ERA that can even intercept shaped charge because it double the ERA which made to stop SHAPE CHARGE
At least the ERA tho can stop Shape charge, it means the ERA can stop RPG-29 and RPG-30, since the ERA have multiple layers

Особенно веселит, как примеряют на несуществующий FMBT. На модельку Звезды Смерти можно было прилепить с тем же успехом, а эффект был бы еще круче)

kanonik1415 мне больше понравилось то что что украинские "конструкторы" собрались перехватывать кумулятивную струю от РПГ))), ну все как в политической жизни незалэжной какую телегу не задвигаю все быдло схавает( то есть потенциальные заказчики в лице ВСУ и поросенка в частности), а че я рад чувак доллариков подогреет не плохо)) честно говоря я как человек с высшим техническим образованием неслабо так поржал, когда люди снимают ролик про то как будут перехватывать струю раскаленного метала ширинной 10-12мм летящего со скоростью 6-8км\с , какимито направленными взрывами , станция МКС со своими "стыковочными" узлами и чуть ли не самой современной электроникой просто нервно курит в сторонке!!!!)ахахах))

Активная защита для БМП и БТР - это нонсенс. Эти боевые машины служат для транспортировки и высадки десанта. Сработавшая АЗ убьёт собственный десант. По этой причине от АЗ воздерживаются на танках, а не только на БМП и БТР.
box.101 смотря какой бмп. Разработка ХБТРЗ БМП-64 на базе Т-64 способна нести дз.
box.101 ну если установить на бмп/бтр танковую ДЗ типа "контакт" и АЗ "дрозд" то да ето повредит машине и екипажу, но здесь представленние защитние системи которие создание для ЛБТ, как пример есть: АЗ КАЗ EFA и ДЗ "кактус"
