Don’t worry Auto Auction Rebuilds I don’t Mind thanks for the great content
Open up a Randy Turo in Midwest City, call it Ruro. Your slogan could be: They ain't pretty, but they'll get ya there.
Randy is trying to re-create the Jurassic Park scene where the kid gets thrown off the electric fence
Randy you are spot on. I used to be a Limo drver and we had a fleet of these with 200,000 plus miles on these cars and i never got stranded. Had issues with high tech cars and got stranded in the middle of I 90 in the middle of a super freezing winter with customers in a 2008 Chrysler 300. They can be good cars but overall the Panther platform is a huge win. Good eyes Randy. God bless man
I love land yachts and the Panthers, especially the Town Car, were the last of a dying breed of big, comfortable, body on frame sedans that stretched all the way back to the late 40s. Now it's all SUVs, 95% of which will never leave the asphalt.
I was a Ford Lincoln. Mercury dealer tech for almost 15 years. These are excellent cars. I live in a low, middle income area where people typically buy a car and keep it forever and there are a lot of these still on the road around where I live
This channel is starting to be addictive LOL!
Last year one of my customers came in with his mom's garaged '04 Town Car. It was parked a year in the garage because she was too old to drive. He jumped it off to drive it to my parts store and wanted us to see what it needed. It was dusty and the hood looked like cardboard boxes has been slid on it. It was silver with the perfect creamy shale leather interior like yours. He wanted 3200 so I bought it on the spot. I replaced all the fluids, wipers, battery, and rebuild the broken power adjustable pedals. The door keypad was unknown so I took the door panel off to retrieve that, and pretty much have been LOVING the serene, disconnected ride. These don't hold value but they're sure as hell a super deal when you buy one.
One more Panther you need, 2003 or 2004 Mercury Marauder. I got my 2004 15 year ago. Suspension, gears, tuner, exhaust, and intake make it a total beast.
My parents had a 1988 Town Car when I was in middle school and it rode like a pillow on a cloud. God I still miss that car. Great buy Randy!
The Panther Trifecta is complete! Great Deal Randy. Love this Lincoln. Keep up the good work!
Excellent deal on the Town Car Randy. The Panther family was indeed great in its day, and continues to be one of the best used vehicles on the road. No depreciation, reliable, cheap to maintain, and as comfortable and capable as any of its descendants. As you say, perfect for Tax Season!
Got a 94 Mercury Grand Marquis with 190,000 and a 96 Ford Crown Vic with 148,000, both run great. I drive the ford every winter to Orlando from Akron Ohio and when I am up in Ohio for the summer, I drive the Merc. They are really easy to work on and when I replace any part, I always get life time warranty, that way I never have to buy any more parts, just replace and your on the road. Of course it helps, to be a back yard mechanic. They both have the same engine, and like you said, they ride smooth and quiet !
3:31 That was a nice red Cadillac you drove past was nice when you said that Car was Twork e
Randy, you've had some incredible purchases with good instinct and smart thinking but, in my opinion, this Town Car is the best so far! Keep it up.
I currently own a 2014 Lincoln MKZ and I love the old-school land yachts like the Town Car. I’ve actually searched for nice, low-mileage Town Cars in my area of Central Florida.
Those cars go for crazy money considering how old they are here. I believe I’ve seen 50,000 mile examples advertised for about $12,000 or so. For about the same money, you can easily buy a much newer Cadillac DTS for sure or maybe even an XTS.
These old Town Cars are prized! They were way over-built, under-tuned and last pretty much for ever like all of the Panther cars. That’s why police departments loved the Crown Vics so much. They were simple cars that were built for a very long time, parts were cheap and they lasted.... in fact, a lot of decommissioned police cars return to extreme service as taxi cabs once the police departments retire them.
Randy is going to do great on this one if he sells it which I’m sure he will. I’m not going to lie though, I kind-of hope he keeps it.
brian5o, I completely agree with you. I have followed these Town Car's for sale online, and the majority of them reside in Florida. Where I'm from, I love the changes of the four seasons but the winters tend to terrorize cars unless they are very well pampered. These Panther cars are long rusted away but the engines last forever. I cringe when I see a Town Car driving down the road with its rear bumper hitting the ground as a result of premature air suspension failure due to extreme cold and road salt. Still, I won't give up the search for a fine example that isn't priced over the moon!
Not complete until you get yourself a Mercury Marauder!
Commando602 I was about to say this lol, that one would be the nicest of them all
true
The P71 is damn close, if not quite so pretty. I believe the police package guts and engine were used to build the Marauder.
I have to admit though, I’m a big fan of the Darth Vader cars.... the Grand National, Impala SS and the last of the bunch, the Marauder.
Yes, missing the 2003-2004 Mercury Marauder. Best car I ever owned...I kind of regret selling it.
MERCURY MERAUDER,CROWN VIC,MARK 4,5AND EVERYTHING ELSE WAS PATTERNED AFTER THAT LINCOLN TOWN CAR.
Lincoln Town car's and Crown Vic's are some of the best car's ford ever made love them.
I have a towncar I bought from the original owner a couple years ago. They just keep going and going! They are smooth and very comfortable! I have seen towncars with over 500k on them still running good! That looks like a nice car that you should keep for a daily it is comfortable and rreliable! Thanks for sharing! Take care and God bless you all!
That's a beautiful car, the epidemy of American luxury. If you're a larger person that hates being shoehorned into these sardine cans they call cars, the town cars and crown Victoria is something to consider.👍
If the “Town Car” ever comes back with that name it better have a column shifter and front split bench seats or else it’s not a Town Car.
I'm jealous!! I want a third gen Town Car with a black interior. Every time I hear someone describe the ride quality, I get more anxious to buy one. I'm sure that one day I'll have a beautiful car like one of these!
Bless you man for saving that gorgeous car! They don’t make cars like that anymore.
Those Signature Town Cars Are AWESOME...
You will learn as a dealer, never fail in love with a piece of metal.
I've already been a dealer. Did great. Difference is UA-cam pays me more than enough to keep the cars if I wanted to.
Keep the Lincoln its so cool with the gold addition signature series
Randy’s love of his cars is exactly why he is so passionate about fixing them right.
He’s established and documented that he treats them good and fixes them right. In my opinion, what he has established on UA-cam makes his cars worth more- you can see all that he’s done to his cars and see that he’s done them right.
Most people who do what Randy does as far as car sales just half-ass fixing them but Randy makes them right down to the new tires.
Yes, he does a lot extra but because he has established that his cars are ready to go for years dependably, people can feel comfortable buying them and know that they will not have problems for years which actually makes them worth more than other similar cars.
Trust is a very difficult thing to earn in the used car sales market but if Randy hasn’t legitimately earned that by now, no one can.
Auto Auction Rebuilds I will add to what you said, Randy. People buying cars like you sell are probably people who can’t afford new and have very limited resources but need a good, dependable car.
Your UA-cam revenues allow you to fix a car right, even though the car itself and its value may not support that.
While you may lose money on the car occasionally, you make up the difference in UA-cam ad revenue and someone in desperate need of a dependable used car that probably doesn’t have the money for repairs should they become necessary gets a great, dependable car for a bargain. You don’t lose money, someone gains a very dependable car that they need for a great deal. It’s a win-win plus you’ve done something great for someone who genuinely needed it.
You’re a good man, Randy. You have probably helped out tons more people than you even realized that really, really needed it.
One of the best looking cars of them all
That TC looks gorgeous, even dirty and scratched up. Nice score!
Great car, great example of what do diligence will do for a person.
My Grandma's 04 Town Car lasted to 430k miles. On original engine and transmission. Only thing wrong towards the end before she upgraded was that the driver window switch stopped working. And she was the only owner. They are really great cars.
Nice lincoln , I purchased 1 last year with 686k miles on it, those cars run forever
I have a friend who has a local taxi and car service and all he buys are Panther Town Cars from estate sales...the heirs don't want a granny car but they are well maintained, clean, and are ready to drive. Great cars. You should be the Panther King and always have a Town Car to cruise around in.
Love your videos and your enthusiasm for doing this, 99% of the time i feel that way aswell! Its great to be able to do something you love doing 👍
I think all of the Panthers are over-built and under-tuned. If you buy an Eco-Beast, they they are sort of the opposite, high strung, lots of wear-and-tear but the panthers are honestly like the last gen Cadillac DeVille/DTSs.
That’s a beautiful car Randy! Nicely bought! I’m sooo glad you got it!
Randy you not gonna have a problem. I wanna get a Lincoln Tcar now. Love the Lincoln Randy
First absolutely love this car very jealous about and second I totally agree it’s better to have inventory than not have it
I have the exact same 05 Town Car, one of my first co-part purchases. Won it for $400 + fees, had 57k miles, one owner and had minor front end damage. I searched around for parts off of the same year and paint color and repaired it without touching the paint. Besides the cruise control buttons being touch and go it's been a great car for the past 10k miles. Don't over look these gems, mine gets 24k mpg and should run for another 200k miles...
Awesome too see you got the town car shame they never made it to New Zealand these cars would have been amazing to own and drive but we missed out
Randy, you're short a Marauder
Five stars for this car. Great video. You took me for a UA-cam ride in the exact same car I drive every day. Even though I have to replace the rear air bags and air compressor along with fixing a couple of other problems, l am all in for the the wonderful jewel of the road. From Texas, thanks for the video.
Randy you bought a NICE Lincoln Town Car! With only 86K miles. Very nice interior, A few exterior cosmetic issue that can be fixed. If i bought a car that clean at auction, i would be tempted to keep it rather than selling it, BUT, when you sell that car you should make a nice profit from the sale! Good work.
A real beauty. Old time luxury. A great deal. Good job, Randy.
I love the Town Car. I had an 03 Signature series, I absolutely loved it. I consider myself very lucky to have found it because at the time I was wanting a Cadillac with the North Star engine in the worst way. The day I bought it I'd made a huge circle hitting every dealership that had the Cadillac I wanted. After not getting together with the sales people on a price we could agree on I was coming into my hometown, spotted the Lincoln, it was used, but only two years old, the big downer for me was the heavy cigarette smell in the car. My friend who went with me said not to worry about the smell. He could get rid of it. The price was already very low due to the smoke smell, and after some negotiation we made a deal. What a beautiful car, and my friend was able to completely get rid of the smoke smell. I drove her for five years, and sold it to a couple. A couple years later I saw the same car on a used car lot in town, it had about 130k miles, the couple traded it for a newer Town Car. I almost bought it back again.
I have the same car only its a 2004. I drove it to Florida from Ohio and back a few years ago and got 24 mpg. The only thing I have done to it is put new tires on it and new brakes. Still have the original sticker for the car and it was over $40,000 new in 2004. One of the best cars I have ever owned.
That town car will run forever, had one, just loved it. Very good on gas, and indeed.
I believe they call it platinum colored trim. I painted the instrument cluster trim rings in platinum (like the needle centres)
I tried gold and silver before settling on platinum.
It's hard to beat a Panther!
Awesome find!
That Towncar is damn near bullet proof,I own a 1991 with over 300,000 and a 2002 with over 160,000,wouldn’t take anything for them, great running cars and very comfortable..
You are getting comfy w/ the Panther platform I see.... I can't blame you
I’m glad you picked up the town car, they don’t make cars like that anymore. I’ll take a car like that any day over a new car cause if they had any issues, it was something that the average person could solve, with new cars you just have to go straight to the dealer
I just bought a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis last Friday so far I am love with that car.
Love the car its beautiful wish we had one greetings from Australia
I have an 06 Signature Limited, same color and LOVE IT!!!!!! Love your Lincoln, you should keep it a while, U WILL LOVE IT!
Beautiful automobile, Randy!! My mom would have loved to have been chauffeured around in that. 👍👍👍
i think the lincoln town car, is really good value,a great find, john.
I love the Lincoln, Randy. Nicely bought!
I drive a 2014 MKZ now but I have actually looked at these as a fun car. Manufacturers just don’t build cars like this anymore. Cars like this are like driving a La-Z-Boy chair.
Btw... this car drives better than the Police Interceptor.... It’s a trooper.... lol!!!! 😂
@Auto Auction Rebuilds, you better feel the carpet in all 4 passenger wells. These cars have a design flaw in the fresh air intake cowl (passenger-side, between the windshield and the hood). Almost all of them (Town Cars) need to be taken apart, re-sealed with RTV, plus a clean-out of the air box. I've owned three so far and all 3 have this problem. There's a few UA-cam videos here on what to do. It's a VERY easy thing to fix.
Nice find. Look's great. I have a 97 Continental, it still runs, drives, rides super.
Car was built in wixom Michigan full frame ,I retired from there well built!Closest to sitting on a couch with a steering wheel.
I have a 1987 Lincoln Contintal that had air suspension that crashed I replaced it with springs and shocks kit from Suncoreindustries.com for 199.99 for the whole kit for the Continental and the Town Car ones were 179.99.
Great deal on the Lincoln! She’s going to look great once she’s detailed! Gonna make a great car for somebody!
I've got an 05 Grand Marquis topping that brake fluid up will shut that light off
Another great buy Randy. Love the videos .
Great looking ride. I’d drive that call all day long. Very nice.
The Lincoln looks great on cam
That's a beauty, love those Town Cars
I’m commenting before watching....sounds like an amazing find!!
Awsome Lincoln someone really took care of it .Like riding on a cloud.big thumbs up
Love the AAR Columbia Jacket!
Beautiful just beautiful Lincoln town car wow
Going on with the channel. You're making car history
That's a nice car Randy! Cross country trip car for sure
I've learned in the past that insurance companies rather pay off on a slightly damaged vehicle rather than deal with slight issues...
Their loss Your gain...
Good Going ...👍👌
Its strictly cost to repair vs value. These older cars are not worth much
jim nielsen I work in the insurance industry and you are exactly right! Besides the cost of the parts themselves, there are costs associated with the removal and reistallation of parts, paint work, blending, etc.
The parts for a car like this is cheap, the labor for the repair not so much. Also, added to that, rental car costs (if accident was NAF or the customer in an AAF had rental). Sometimes it’s easier to total the car, cut a check and be done with it. The insurance money then gets the car signed over to them and can sell it to recoup some of their claim settlement expenses.
RANDY AWESOME AS ALWAYS.
Love the Town Cars. Great buy. Have a great day.
Totally agree with not buying a new car. I worked in the industry and confirmed for years that the best purchase is a used car in good condition. I am a fan of panther platform, owned a couple and looking to buy another one in the next few days,. 2/18/24
The Lincoln is the best panther you have bought If I could get that car here in Australia, I'd drive the heck out of it
I and getting one of these one of these to pimp out grandpa style, chrome package and curb feelers.
The first youtuber who read every comment down and respond even! 👍🏻
Not another one. You sure love these cars
Nice buy Randy! Gotta love the old body on frame cars. My 94 Caprice with LT1 is a dream on the highway lol.
It would be awesome to get Tyler down to check out your hooptie fleet lol. I have a soft spot for the town car. That model is my absolute favorite and I will have one one day hopefully not when there all complete rust buckets!
Randy.....I am digging tha shit outa that Lincoln dude. That is boss
You would actually need a Mercury Marauder to complete your Panther collection. They are my favorite of all of them.
no please dont not stop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love your videos bro !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#morelifebro and more crs too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get way too attached to cars too. I once looked at a '96 Bonneville and I fell in love with it before i even bought it because of how perfect it is, but mechanically it was a nightmare and I was super upset about that because I really wanted to buy it.
Nice pick up. That car has class.....
Very nice and clean Town car great deal.
Love these cars had a 04 lx sport for about 10 years never had any problems out of it to bad Ford stopped making them
When Ford started the way forward. Our base customer was 80 years old, fords reasoning was,how long these old customers were going to buy Lincoln's.
Love the car definitely need to buy one of those soon...
I just love that Lincoln - ship it to me to Europe please :)
hi randy great vido , lets keep them all and buy till you dont have any room to keep them
Randy: this completes the entire collection of the Panther platform
Mercury Marauder: Are you sure about that?
Auto action reble love town car ford 2005 I had victory 89 love it they are great love videos right now trying to fix my 94 isuzu trooper have trable getting it to start it on time checking injectors cleaning them and still ...I'm from Puerto Rico I love cars
*I’d love to build these older model Lincolns, Buicks & Mercurys with V8s.*
Best panther 🐆 so far
I need to start buying copart cars
It’s a good car. You won’t have any problems with it.
Sebastian Larcher de Brito 🤞
Great purchase Randy.. If I was looking for a good used car, that Lincoln would be it..
I found Hoovie's Garage from watching your and TK's vids. Thanks for sharing.
Told you Randy those town cars are the best I’m on my second one and loving it
Nice.... Lincoln that is a beautiful car... I'd be proud of that one myself.. that's a sweet ride. I got a 2001 crown Victoria myself.... got it for my son.... got lots of play in the steering... bad steering shaft but still nice ride
All those Ford cars built on that Panther platforms are land yachts but they are stout for their size and virtually indestructible.
I knew that one was a winner, good deal man. Excellent buy.
