I think the tic-tac-toe board is so clever, it’s fun and engaging for the kids. They would love this and it makes math seem less intimidating. I can definitely see myself using these tips in the future. Thank you

What I learned about this video was the tic-tac-toe method, which I think it’s a great idea because students are engaging, they are having fun while learning.

I used constructivism and cooperative learning in my class..I used constructivism by giving some time to think about the given problem and don't give the answer right away...I make them think..And I also used cooperative learning because it is an opportunity for students to share what they know to others and of course they can learn to co-operate.

Great ideas for having math thinking out loud activities and students having to explain their reasoning. I would like to clarify that when you stated that 1/3 can sometimes be bigger than 1/2 because 1/3 of a larger pizza is greater than 1/2 of a smaller pizza. I understand your reasoning, however, I believe that it is important when comparing fractions we are use the same size whole for comparison. So a larger pizza is not the same whole as a smaller pizza. But I agree with these deeper concepts in fractions takes time to directly address through practice problem solving so students can see their thinking and reasoning. Thanks for your informative videos!
