the only thing puzzling in your SF260 videos is the position of the prop lever (all the way back instead of all the way forward). The quadrant has three levers and the one all the way to the right is prop control. All the way forward is fine pitch, used on t/o and lndg but if you have it back like that is cruise pitch. I would have guessed you want fine pitch just like on take off to do maneuvers where high power is desired at times. What RPM had you set it at?

Your SF260W served as a basic trainer with the Air Corps here in Ireland. Don’t change out your avionics. Keep that classic look. If I ever get to Arizona I’ll as k you for a flight in 230
