[Hokkaido] Travel by Camper Van! Must-try 'Kaisendon' and 'Soup Curry' in Hokkaido

Hokkaido Camper Van Trip!
When you think of Hokkaido, you think of breathtaking views, brown bears, and of course...delicious food!
Did you know the sea urchins in Rausu are grown on kelp?
That's why their flavor is so rich and deep!
It’s a must-try, no doubt! Haha
We had our meal at 'Shiretoko Shokudo' located at the Michi-no-Eki (Roadside Station) Shiretoko Rausu!
The menu had options like 'Rausu Kelp Ramen' and 'Pike Eel Rice Bowl,' but...
We decided on the three-color bowls: 'Uni (Sea Urchin), Crab, and Salmon Roe' and 'Salmon, Salmon Roe, and Crab'!
It also came with clam miso soup.
Everything was so fresh and delicious! 😋
We savored the flavors of Hokkaido!
And then...another highlight!
Soup curry is famous in Hokkaido... perhaps it's more popular in Sapporo?
This time, we enjoyed soup curry at 'Tsujya Shokudo,' right in front of Michi-no-Eki Mashu Onsen. 😋
There's also an antique and general goods store attached!
They even had nostalgic records, and we lost track of time just looking around! Haha
But our main goal was soup curry!
We quickly ordered 'Vegetable Soup Curry' and 'South Indian-style Curry'!
Both are made without chemical seasonings!
Each vegetable was prepared with care, and the bone-in chicken was so tender that it fell apart easily.
The spices were on point, and while the soup was light, it had a deep flavor-simply delicious!
Afterward, we stopped by Michi-no-Eki Odaito for some soft serve ice cream... and left with very full stomachs! Haha
This time, the sound of the waves and the scenery at Wakoto Peninsula healed our souls, and the soup curry nourished our bodies!

Hello! We are vanBeelife!
We started our journey with overnight stays in a small van, traveling through Kyoto and Shikoku. But we felt the need for more space, so we bought a Hiace camper van ("van-con").
We were amazed by the spaciousness and enjoyed trips around Kyushu and the Chugoku region!
It was during our previous trip to Hokkaido (August 2021) that we began uploading our travel records to UA-cam. This was the beginning of our channel, where we aim to share the joy of these wonderful journeys with everyone.

北海道を旅していると、絶景だったり美味しい食べ物があったりで、その土地ごとに良い発見があります！
道の駅摩周温泉の辺りはと云うと…とても落ち着くんです笑
空気感と云うか…ご友人が引っ越されたと聞いて私も納得です！
スープカレーは味がスーッと入ってきて、スパイスが効いてるのに身体に優しい感じがして不思議でした！
もちろん美味しかったですよ😋私はファンになりました！
