Really great play through. Just the right amount of detail when explaining your reasoning for card choice, troop movement, rules of combat, and result of the engagements! Also, thank you for quickly explaining the cards on each turn. Really fun to watch and learned a lot!
My grandson received the base game. We are going to play tonight for first time. We will watch your video again prior to our first match of many! Great walk through video.
This was a great play through. Just the right amount of instruction to give me enough knowledge to play the game and I’m really excited to get it to the table. Please do more videos. Thanks!
Very good play through description. Have not played the game as yet, waiting for my grandson to join me, but the only improvement for your next run through would be to place the attack cards closer to the camera and readable. Thank you for the demo!
well done...wrong side won, but you did a great job. I know this is super old, but I have a shipment of m44 coming in and I'm binging all kinds of m44 content.
Nice play thru. I would have used my air power to pound the two units that were together there towards he end. Perhaps not a fun way to win and it may not have won but I like to use the air power whenever you can provided multiple enemy units are together.
I just bought the game, realy good explanation of the rules (except the one error ;) ). Also I read that the Germans have little to none chance for a victory in this scenario but you managed it!
Somewhere in the rulebook it recommends that scenarios be played twice, switching sides between. Then the winner is determined by the cumulative score.
It is nice to see step by step in close range and also each unit as they are moving and taking action you get one soldier to lay down while action is still to be played.
Hey! New MM44 player here. Thank you for the explanation. However one question. The dudes behind the sandbags get to ignore the first flag..... Is that per turn or in total? I noticed you just ignored them completely.
I know this is from a year ago but to answer your question, my understanding of the rule is that it is per battle. So the only way to force a sandbag troop to retreat is to get 2 flags in one battle.
In this case, none of your units can activate. You discard one command card and draw another and hope for the best. There are some folks that have house rules that allow: “If you have NO usable cards, you can activate a unit of your choice,” but I don’t play that way.
Can you combine a 2 figure infantry unit with another 2 figure infantry unit on another hex to create a new unit, thus denying your opponent his medals ?

Nice do all of the base scenarios. You actually know the rules. Some other guys miss many base rules in their play throughs.
Thanks for this. I JUST started playing and I’m enjoying M44.
Great play through. Helped me a ton!
This was great - really enjoyed it. Helped me understand the rules etc. Pity you didn't do any more.
MarkTrain BUT WAIT THERS MORE!
Very Nice Play thru. Have you heard of Richard Borg's Rule of 3? Makes playing solo a lot easier

Thank you. Liked the play through. Just got the game, this helps learning it!
Really well done play through. There are some player made solo rules to help not knowing what the German side has for cards

Glad the video was helpful. Welcome to the excellent world of MM44!

brilliant easy peasy got it bought thanx man
Thank you. Great video.
I enjoyed this. Thank you.
15:55 - you've moved from one forest to another - I think this unit wasn't allowed to attack this turn... am I right? :)
Yes. These troops are not French Resistance, so by moving into the forest they must stop and cannot attack this turn
Make more!
Just got this game, have some questions on some of the mechanics?
Hey! New MM44 player here. Thank you for the explanation.

Ignore 1 flag per each toss of a bunch of dice (1 battle)
So what are you supposed to do if you are into the game and only have left flank cards with no units on your left flank
In this case, none of your units can activate. You discard one command card and draw another and hope for the best. There are some folks that have house rules that allow: “If you have NO usable cards, you can activate a unit of your choice,” but I don’t play that way.
You could see the situation coming and prepare for it by moving units from the center to the flank, or to the red-dashed line.
I played this scenario against myself and the Germans were impossible to defeat
Can either side earn the metals on the bridges?
no only allies
total Brotherhood Gaming Great! Thanks!
Not in this scenario.
Интересно
Can you combine a 2 figure infantry unit with another 2 figure infantry unit on another hex to create a new unit, thus denying your opponent his medals ?
Brother Valen No you are not suppose to combine units of any kind together
You can never combine units.
Anyone else hear the fart at 7:57??
Had a gas station hotdog for lunch that day, my bad
