This game...this game, right here... I've dropped forty-some hours already...and still only in the third area. Granted, I'm doing all the intel/side-quests and exploring. And, if Rebirth is like Remake, there will be hard mode things to do later as well. I just...don't know how to comprehend the size/scope of this game...and the interactions! between everyone in my party. So much more life/humour...
I'm scared/excited for the final installment (Which, they better call Reunion btw). RIP my wallet if/when they release all three parts as a bundle. RIP my life if/when that happens because I won't be leaving my house that month.

I think that Black Myth: Wukong has a chance to beat this, but we'll see. The gaming industry just loooooooves to award Soul's like games.

I hope the crowd who's into it enjoys it, that being said, I've beaten the original ps1 game at least 5 times, and I would play the original again, but this is tooooo much, so much new stuff too and I wish it was more like Mario RPG Remake in terms of updated graphics and music and faithfulness, but that's me, I would buy that in a heartbeat even though I'm pissed that SquareEnix will never do a FF8 remake, some of that FF7 resources should have been shared, and it just seems they're milking FF7 for all the gil in the world.
Some classics don't need to be perverted. If they remake 6 I hope it's closer in tone to SMRPG
@@SolaceAndDread I'm just coming back to this post because I just saw the ending and I was... shocked. Not going to spoil it, but you're not going to have to have the same warm feelings like you did reliving Mario RPG in terms of the faithfulness.

With all the hand throwing and ass beating getting dished out, it looks like this one will be a little more challenging than Remake.
Either that or I'm just trash at the game.
Let's say I had a very different experience.
I was glad to be able to auto-pick all items on the ground with a single press of the Triangle as long as I was on a Chocobo (can't do it on foot, why ?).
Then I approached a "Hunting ground" and suddenly, a IA starts talking and recite me a Wikipedia article about a monster that I could've read in the Analyze mode and her subtitles went to 30% of the screen during a time limited battle. And she did it again. And again. And again. And again.
Why ? WHY on Earth did anyone at Square thought this was a good idea ? Can we kick Nomura in the balls everytime he agree to his stupid team idea ?

If you don't like it, you literally can mute her it's not a big deal. For me, because I'm not a native English speaker, it's so much easier for me to get info like this. So you got both options
