In all honesty, all the characters sound exactly how I pictured them. And those of you saying that Denji sounds too young, thats because he is.
Aki and Makima sound off to me. Denji and Power are spot on.
Makimas voice is to high, lacks craziness and appeal.
Akis voice is to deep, and sounds to detached. Aki isnt much older than Denji, but just by the voice id think the character is in his late forties.
@@mihal1570 I disagree, Makima’s voice is perfect, you believe her voice should be deeper because the whole dominant trope. Aki also sounds perfect because he IS detached. His whole character development was to have him gain that humanity he lost when his family died. And hes at least 18-21 whole denji is 16.

Important dates to remember for Chainsaw Man fans would be September 19th as that is when a private airing of the first episode will happen and it is also the date both the opening and ending songs will be released. Alongside that we should get more cast information for characters like Reze. Official release date 11th October.

Not gonna lie, this looks and sounds surprisingly good. The character designs are translated very well, the animation and visuals are crisp, there are next to no spoiler, you didn´t feel the need to spoil the antagonists by showing them and Power´s voice is so incredibly spot on, it´s scary. Dare i say it? I have high hopes for this.
This looks like a passion project and i´m in for it.

@@Bigdikus nah that was another VA in other language who made Makima's voice in a fandub of the trailer. She was fired for that apparently. Don't know why would they do that tho

I don't get why people don't like Makima's VA. I think she perfectly encapsulates how haunting and mysterious her character is.
I think most people have have the impression that she can only voice cute girls

Really looking forward to how insane the animation and soundtrack is. I’m equally pumped to hear the voice actors perform these batshit crazy characters and their insane dialogue.
I hope that with this trailer, the fans annoying and critizing that Makima's voice actress wont fit the character will realize their mistake judging without fundaments that, in this trailers here she sounds perfectly with the character. And even so if they still complain, best wait until the anime to decide

I disagree. I don't think the voice is bad but I sounds like a younger voice, or at least a younger styled speech pattern. It'd not bad though, probably gonna get used to it within a few lines once the anime is on.

To describe Chainsaw Man in an out-of-context nutshell, imagine FLCL but it's rated M for Massacre.
I’m so excited to see this get animated and to have people experience the story. This definitely has the potential to be as huge as One-Punch Man, Demon Slayer and Attack On Titan. The hype crazy 🔥

It’s literally number 5 for yearly jump sales only behind one piece, mha, demon slayer, and JJK (4-1 respectively). Demon slayer is done publishing and only stays up in sales due to the anime with mha apparently soon being done along with one piece. The only series that will be around probably two or more years later ahead of it is JJK

The music they used for this, is perfect. It just fits chainsaw man so well compared to something maybe with a lot of low brass tones, of which would still fir but not as well as the glitchy sounds of what they did use.

Makimas va is great but I was expecting makimas voice to sound older and seductive like yk, I feel like that’s a big part of her character.
