Keen to hear your thoughts on Final Fantasy 15? For me, it had great potential but was poorly executed. In particular, you have to consume the wider expansion media (e.g. the move, expansion episodes etc) to fully appreciate the story. You cannot just play FF15 and expect to understand what is going on. Nonetheless, I ended up enjoying my play through and I appreciate the story. #ArdynDidNothingWrong
Sadly this feels like it's a trend for the foreseeable future with every iconic IP both in the gaming and the movie industry, I don't know what's wrong or why any of this is happening (besides obviously the $$$) but it feels like we've lived long enough to watch our most beloved franchises be wrecked beyond recognition and turned into MTX/DLC nightmares. FF15 isn't as horrible as in some cases but from taking recent precedents into account it's a clear step in the wrong direction and it paints a grim future for the franchise. All we can do is hope for now but despite FF15 not being as aggressively bad it's still far from what we know they are capable of. I also don't see any replayability in it which is a shame, I've played games like FFVI FFVII and VIII countless times each and I'd much rather play any of those three than to play FF15 again. But then again that could be just me since this is all just my opinion on it.
Didn't play 15 due to the mixed reviews and it taking forever to go on sale on steam, but ff14 is really dope and has a fantastic story. Plus Yoshi-P (14 producer) is producing 16 so im pretty pumped for that
