I second laser hair removal (though, in my experience, it will grow back eventually). I also love book darts if you're like me and don't want to use pen or highlighter (or if you read a lot of library books). Great for marking important parts without having to interrupt your reading to take notes. Plus, my plant watering globes mean fewer dead plants. Yay! 😂 And a totally random one - I picked up a cheap mini disco ball and popped it in front of my office window. JOY!
Oooh I feel like a book dart would make a great present for a few people I know. Disco balls look so fun!!! Also If I ever get plants I for sure need a watering globe. Sending you tons of good thoughts!!
Great recommendations! With you on the long charger, I accidentally bought one in London this year when my phone charger died on the trip and at first I was like wtf but now I'm kinda digging it 😂 period underwear has also been a life changer, I use it mostly in addition to pads bc I used to bleed through a lot and stain my pants and it has literally NEVER happened once I wore period underwear in addition
For the big dishwasher friendly glasses, I usually use gherkin (hope that's the right English word :D) or olive jars, and they can go into the dishwasher, you can fill in hot and cold drinks, they can be taken on the go with the drink and a lid on :D i love them
Definitely agree with the hair removal! Not being as sweaty in summer plus all no more razor marks … for your followers if you want to get a tattoo make sure to get the hair removal first as the laser will literally explode the ink
what brand is your canvas bag for your laptop? I really want to get one but can’t find one :( it’d be good to have an assigned laptop bag love your content btw 🥰🥰 been watching since lockdown and you’ve given me so much confidence to believe I can do things if I just put my mind to them
a $40 gel manicure kit off amazon has curbed my nail biting habit and now I've got long, beautiful nails that bring me so much joy! Painting my nails every 3 weeks is a super relaxing form of selfcare for me and this kit has completely changed my life!
Normal glasses are for weirdoes. For years i drank out of a 1L jar, i think it had beetroot pickless in it. It was the perfect size + my housemates never used it cause no one wanted to drink out of a pickle jar. Very cheap and comes with free pickes, would recommend
I second period undies ... Excellent peace of mind too. and suncreen YES. I keep it everywhere. For the laser hair removal, interesting that it works so well. Seems like it would save a ton of time and razors too. Leaving everything by the door is a great idea. I recently put one of those command hooks near the door for my keys, and now I never lose my keys. It's the little things, for sure
I love the printed list idea! I’ve started some various packing lists, but love it for just going to the park, coffee shop, etc. I inevitably forget something! Also, I used menstrual cups for years but always had issues with leaking. Switched to a reusable menstrual disc a few years ago, and I barely even notice my period now! Serious game changer!
So many of the things you listed are stuff I also have and think are life changing. Related to the big smoothie cups, mini/tumbler-type blender is life changing! I always have frozen fruit+veggie mixes and can instantly have smoothies when I want. Another is having a cheap Deerma cordless vacuum cleaner (around USD80) at all main parts of the house. Takes about 5min each day to clean the area so I always have a clean house. Also, having a super lightweight foldable reusable bag in my purse. Never needed to buy plastic bags for quick grocery runs.
I had melanoma so I always keep sunscreen in the car - but I use a mineral one so the chemicals don’t soak into my skin, and the interior of the car is smeared with white. 😬
I got a Yeti water bottle because it's all dishwasher proof, and a sanitized water bottle is very important to me. Thanks for sharing, especially the eco-friendly options. Big fan of your content.
Loved this video! I've been curious about laser hair removal for a long time, definitely checking more into that. Some of my favorite purchases for making life easier/more enjoyable: 1. I put my white noise machine on a timer. I LOVE that machine, but I usually go to bed a lot later than my husband, so the room is pitch black, and I always had trouble finding the switch to turn it on and at the right volume. (The on/off switch is a wheel that also controls the volume, so every time I'd turn it on, I'd have to guess at the setting --in the dark--for the volume.) Now it turns on and off on its own, so it's always on when I go to bed, always set at the right volume, and it makes such a difference. 2. I've been in the process of setting up a beach/adventure bag, and you encouraged me to finish it and get the list printed up :) 3. A mini chargeable vacuum that stays in the garage for quick sweeps of the car. (DON'T store those in the car--the batteries can explode in the heat.) 4. This one was more than $100 (closer to $400, but WORTH EVERY PENNY): a cordless wet/dry vacuum. It sweeps and mops in one step, and this particular model has a slightly larger water reservoir than the less expensive ones, so there's less emptying/refilling, it lives on its charging station, and has been--for real--a life changer around here. We have pets, so this really helps keep the floors much cleaner. We don't use the chemical cleaner it came with because I'm sensitive to that stuff, but it works great with the natural disinfecting cleanser I like. We started off with just a cordless vacuum, and that was a huge improvement to begin with--we still use that one daily, and the wet/dry one at least once a week. It's been amazing! 5. In the shower: I got one of those kitchen dish scrubber brush-head things with a reservoir handle to hold dish soap in and instead filled it with a mixture of white vinegar, water, and some dish soap, and I use that to clean the shower every time I take one. Now cleaning the shower is not a separate chore that requires extra time and effort, it just stays clean all the time and hardly takes any time at all. I got one for my kids' bathroom, too, and theirs is always clean now as well! They even think it's sort of fun, so win-win. 6. Also in the shower: I got one of those suction-cup foot scrubbers (in the shape of a foot) and a bottle of Kerasal foot wash, and I use it every day. Dry, rough feet are a thing of the past! I don't even have to use lotion on them anymore, they're soft, smooth, and in the best shape of my life just from that one easy step that takes literally less than a minute total for both feet. (Make sure to store the foot scrubber up on its side instead of flat so all the water drains off to keep it from getting moldy.) 7. Possibly the most bougie thing ever (don't judge! LOL!), but... I got this thing that's like a hard plastic claw-scooper-purse for dealing with dog waste on walks. I want a BIG DOG (Bernese Mountain Dog) really badly, but BIG DOG = BIG MESSES. I have a super strong gag reflex, and dealing with the dog waste was a stopping point for me. I went on a hunt for a way to deal with that that wouldn't make me want to hurl every single day. I already have to clean my long-haired cat's behind pretty frequently, I've done literal decades of cleaning up kid stuff of all sorts (!!!), and adding the picking up of warm, strong smelling, big-dog doggie stuff by hand to the list... I just... ACK. That was my line in the sand, but it's also a requirement for responsible dog ownership, so... I knew I had to figure out a solution to get the most adorable fur baby on earth into my life asap. I ordered one of these claw deals to "test market" on my mom's dog. She has a doberman, so not quite as big as a Berner, but close enough for testing purposes. IT. WORKS. I won't say it deals with the odor, really--you still have to lean down close enough to use the claw (which the baggie fits over, then you claw up the stuff, grasp the outside of the bag and tie it off, all without ever touching anything, and nothing gets on the claw, either), but it makes it pretty fast and easy, and I can hold my breath long enough for that, LOL. Then it's tidily contained until you get to a trash receptacle. Perfection! Berner baby, here I come :)
I have a little car bin in the door of my car. It's a thin and long Cookie jar, I think. But it fit perfectly in the door and I just fill it up with all the little wrappings and papers that you collect while driving. It's SO worth it that I'm thinking of getting one for my husband as well
I literally just spent half an hour in Kmart reading all the little instructions on the cups and it should be a crime how many things Kmart sell that are not dishwasher friendly. WHO HAND WASHES ANYMORE, LOL. WHO HAS TIME FOR THAT IF THEY'RE BUYING AT KMART.
So glad I found this channel! I’ve seen a handful of your videos and they are all so excellent. I’ve shared your channel with people that I thought would benefit from it!
One remark on laser hair removal: Please don't do that at home with the devices you can purchase for private use! They can be pretty dangerous to use without expertise. So please go to a professional for this kind of treatment if you don't want permanent skin damage from the laser!
Frustrating about laser hair removal - it's not possible for natural redheads and grey hair. It's got to do with the pigment in the hair, but unfortunately not an option for those hair colours.
Just a heads up, M, the flat charger timestamp should be at 1:53 🙂 It was a little jarring because for dysphoria reasons I try to avoid anything about hair removal ❤
I second laser hair removal (though, in my experience, it will grow back eventually). I also love book darts if you're like me and don't want to use pen or highlighter (or if you read a lot of library books). Great for marking important parts without having to interrupt your reading to take notes.

Really enjoyed this video, I feel like your recommendations are totally honest and mature, not just lame generic influencer.

I love my robes, I have a black fluffy one for winter (if my husband doesn’t steal it lol) and 2 satin ones for the rest of the year lol
Girl you're so lucky, I looked into laser hair removal, and it was $110 per session just for underarms where I live 🤯
Same here in Mexico 😢
Yes, I came to the comments to learn more. I have only seen it costing over $1000.
@@VixVida Holy moly. It's $33 on sale here for a duo pack (bikini/underarms)
It's really affordable in Australia, I was shocked
@@emilypickett6401 where are you from? It's more than a hundred here
This has a lot of great ideas, I saved it. And, it really IS the little things that make life so much easy and more efficient.
These are great suggestions - love the checklists for the bags!
For the big dishwasher friendly glasses, I usually use gherkin (hope that's the right English word :D) or olive jars, and they can go into the dishwasher, you can fill in hot and cold drinks, they can be taken on the go with the drink and a lid on :D i love them

Bag lists!!! Genius!!! ❤❤❤
I love that you are Australian too - sick of products/ideas not avail in Aus
This is an aside but that green top suits you SO well, definitely your colour!
I just stated watching put i already know I will love this
Are you using mineral or chemical sunscreen? Because if it’s mineral, it’s effective right away (yay!). It doesn’t take 20 mins as you mentioned
what brand is your canvas bag for your laptop? I really want to get one but can’t find one :( it’d be good to have an assigned laptop bag
love your content btw 🥰🥰 been watching since lockdown and you’ve given me so much confidence to believe I can do things if I just put my mind to them
Nice sharring beautiful...😍😍😍
Hand up who drank water during the smoothie cup part 🖐🏻😂😂
I spent 3k on hair removal twice and it didn’t work. Pale and dark hair too. Wtf. 😂
If these are ways to "improve life" then I guess that I've been mistaken about this idea for a long time.
Damn
What?! I paid $1k for my laser hair removal!
My dermatologist told me that sunscreen is not effective once left in a hot car. Just FYI!
a $40 gel manicure kit off amazon has curbed my nail biting habit and now I've got long, beautiful nails that bring me so much joy! Painting my nails every 3 weeks is a super relaxing form of selfcare for me and this kit has completely changed my life!
😊😊❤
What kit did you get? I only get a week out of mine :(
Same! I used to spend so much going to salons but now I find joy in doing it myself
Everyone doing gel, make sure to use sunscreen or it will age your hands/increase risk of cancer!
Normal glasses are for weirdoes.

Genius idea with printing out the little "packing lists" for the beach/ picnic - loved this video :)
I had melanoma so I always keep sunscreen in the car - but I use a mineral one so the chemicals don’t soak into my skin, and the interior of the car is smeared with white. 😬
Which brand is from mineral? Or do you know what should I check in the ingredients to know if it contain minerals?
In summer sunscreen degrades when it gets hot, so keeping it in the door actually makes it less effective.
The relief I feel! I’m not crazy about needing a bag checklist! Everyone’s comments are making me feel normal. 🥰
I really really loved this video!! Would love to see a what I wouldn’t buy! Or even specific room ones like kitchen or bathroom best buys etc
I don't like wearing lotions so I use a UV blocking sun cover and hats. I've used both Solumbra and UV Skinz brands.
I got a Yeti water bottle because it's all dishwasher proof, and a sanitized water bottle is very important to me. Thanks for sharing, especially the eco-friendly options. Big fan of your content.
I love your videos, they motivate me when I feel down! Thank you 😊
I drink from my ninja cup too 🙂🙂
I read this right after she mentioned the diva cups and my brain did not compute and I was horrified😂
As an fyi, sunscreen expires sooner if left in hot cars!
Period underwear and laser hair removal have changed my life honestly 💖💖💖
Period underwear ftw! I have saved so much money.
Yes, long chargers are great!
the bag checklists 🤯 doing this immediately!!

I’ve been audio recording for journaling in my voice memo app. But this new app seems like an upgrade.
Laser hair removal for 10 bucks a shot!? UK is very different!
Does Australia have good tap water? I'm from u.s and the tap water is gross:/ has to be bottled or filtered
Yes I love the entry way and bag situations!
Where on earth can you get laser hair removal for less than 100 dollars?
curling iron is on sale for $77 right now too...
I trust your refs with my life 😮

Wow! I love how you weave sort of life hack ideas in with the products. This is genuinely helpful-the little bag checklists in particular are genius!

Where did you get laser hair removal done. Hoping to find an affordable option in Melbourne, if anybody knows one I would be so grateful

Loved the video ❤
Hey, does anybody know where is the bag ( 5:04) or some similar one from? Thanks!❤
SOOOOO agree on laser hair removal
Please keep in mind that laser hair removal has a skin cancer risk... =/
Love the bag checklist idea.
I love these so much thankyou !!!!
