I enjoyed that video bb, I think most people of a certain age and from all areas of the UK started fishing the same way, I was brought up by the river thames in London, and spent every minute of the day fishing as it was free , or playing football. Your old man was right, I fished with my old man and found it boring til the day ,my father put a perch on my hook while I was messing around , Once I caught that perch I was hooked, We never had commercials in those days and had more chance of catching shopping trolleys and old tyres, I got back into fishing again about 15yrs ago as I was to old to play football anymore, commercial fisheries have made fishing so more accessible to everyone!and easier for all standards of angling! I appreciate my fishing so much more nw as I find it so much easier than when I was a kid, A 1lb fish was a fish of a lifetime when I was a kid, I had a 12lb carp yesterday on the pole and that's the norm on alot of places these days! Cant believe you won , Very nostalgic , It's not all its set out to be being the favourite in the family anyway andy🤣🤣🤣 trust me 👍👍👍👍👍
