I got the NLR F-GT and while the build quality if ok, I am not impressed with it overall. I'm 6'5 and no matter which configuration I use it's to small for me. Plus, using a Fanatec DD there is no downward angle adjustment. The rig is built assuming you have an angled wheelbase, which the Fanatec DD isnt. So the mounting are much higher, hence further down the rig track. I bought the Monitor stand which wont attach to the rig as the main section for the wheel has to go at the end of the rig, leaving no room for the monitor stand attachments. I also bought the Mouse and Keyboard stand, but it wont go down far enough to use below the wheel. I am looking at extending the rig with some fabricated parts, but this will be an added expense.
I watched a few GT Elite and and F-GT Elite reviews and eventually decided on F-GT Elite. Since it’s probably the last rig I buy for the foreseeable future, I want no compromises this time, so GT Elite using profiles with much thinner internal structure really puts me off.
I use the sim lab GT1 evo. I have been using a GT Omega seat for it but it hurts my back so I recently ordered a NRG bucket seat. The rig is amazing and no flex at all. Using Fanatec DD Pro with load cell pedals.
I'd love to hear what you thought about the flex on the new ERS1 seat! How does it compare to the bucket seat? Is it more comfortable? Does it have flex?
The aluminium profile is actually different between the 2 …. The f gt has a stronger construction ( thicker internal sections ) that’s why it costs more . But the gt elite is a great rig at a great price with exceptional quality …. Its a yes from me
Hi, thanks for the excellent review. One question, did I rightly understand that the ELITE DIRECT MONITOR MOUNT - BLACK EDITION fits on both the F-GT ELITE and GT Elite rigs?
A weird question: I have ordered a GT Elite, and when I will use it I intend to slide it through a doorway. A squeeze, I know. According to NLR's spec sheet the rig is EITHER 70cm or 84cm. I am assuming the difference is attributable to whether the shifter mount is present. Can any of your viewers (or you!) illuminate this for me?

NLR FTGT elite
NLR Wheel Stand and GTRacing gamer chair, no cockpit yet.
I bought the GT Elite with ES1 bucket seat. Amazing bit of kit 😊

I’m looking at an NRG seat as well. How’s it working out?
5:13 Note: even if the end is blocked you can still insert t-nuts directly into the channel where they are required.

Same here, I want to see a clip under heavy braking to see much flex there are with the ers1 seat. Anyone seen a video that covers that? Link please.
@@Simlife101 I went with the bucket seat. I love it! Very confortable and confidence inspiring in those tougher race situations

Great video but the audio sounded too sharp for me. You know when the "s" hits harder than everything else or high treble let's say.
agree, a de-esser would go a long wag

great video! what size monitor would you recommend with the direct monitor mount? thanks!
Does the wheel mount get in the way of the view if you were to get triple screens?
What size TV did you install on the direct monitor mount? I have an FGT Elite and wanted to mount a 55” LG Oled on there !
We used a 43" 16:9 monitor - From the official site, it supports monitors 27”- 43”, or ultra wide monitors up to 49"
Hate the angled toward you wheel mount uprights it cramps you so i ditched my f-gt elite for a tr160 mk4
