Because anything from japan is "lit," anything form a Japanese eye is golden! and time just makes everything stand out as original! Got everybody amped after this... "streetwear" brands left and right after this (California perspective). Cats love bape, some try to talk down on bape or try and X it out, and don't even know the half! Its indubitable for a reason!
