I use vinyl shelf paper, cut out scares or rectangles and place between nesting casserole dishes to keep them from scratching or clacking every time you pull open the drawer. Another thing is Pyrex and other brand names, is now owned by China and they changed the glass composition. It's cheaper but also tends to explode at times. I've had that happen. So now I like to try and buy older pieces instead of the new stuff.

Lost socks in the dryer get stuck in between the drum and any open spacesI know someone who took one apart. I use the mason jars for beverages too. Started out because they have lids so the when the cats knock them over it won't spill when on the floor lol

The best advice for food storage when you have limited space to store containers: get several different sizes of 1 type of container that stack easily. Whatever your favorite containers are, just get all the sizes in multiples and stack them. You won't have to deal with nesting. Less types of containers means more control over storage organization.
When I organized my kitchen cabinets that store containers, I got rid of (passed on) containers that wouldn't stack and that I used less. I ended up with 2 types of plastic containers in various sizes and 1 type of glass. So much easier to store. Don't make your life complicated. Stick to one shape/style. Rule is if you can stack and store, keep it. If not, give it away

I love the plastic lids you have in place of the canning jar lids. I need to get some of those.

      @@kathychavez1710,
I have bought them at Walmart. I assume Target has them as well. Here are the links to Amazon.

This is an easy one-hour challenge!
You can do this! Organizing food storage is so rewarding and if you reduce clutter and keep every lid with it’s container, you will be amazed at how neat your drawers will STAY!! So worth it!

I would be keeping those glass containers, and re-ordering lids from Amazon. Or you could check with corningware or Pyrex etc. I picked up quite a few glass bowls at thrift stores and recently found my favorite color lids on Amazon, so once I know all the sizes that I need, I’m going to order replacements.

Hi, Rita! I completely understand that frustration. I have lived in 12 homes just in my adult life - everything from a very small one bedroom apartment to living with my grandma who had way more storage than I have now and everything in between. The trick is definitely trying to make your own personal space work. I would love to help if I can. Feel free to email me if you’d like to chat about some ideas. 😊 Thanks for watching!
