Agreed - a brilliant episode. Early Brookside always had a great mix of characters and storylines. It's much missed.
Amanda Burton is such a natural excellent actress
This episode was superb! I can't put it any other way. The contrast between the relatively comic story of Annabelle's food (loved the scene with the Corkhills) to the agony of Heather and Harry. Their scenes were phenomenally written and acted - this show is so GOOD, and the characters are so real. The moment where Harry is walking through the ward after learning about his granddaughter...wow.

Does anyone know how many episodes Heather appeared in ? For example Trevor Jordache was only in eight episodes altogether That comes as a bit of a surprise to most fans I would av thought
IMDb has it at 143 episodes but only from 1982-1985 but she was in it until the end of 1986 so I think the number is probably closer to 200
@@jamiemacdonald6429 There were only 2 episodes a week so 215 or so between Nov 82 and Dec 86 so 143 is about right but dates aren't
