I'm glad you reacted to this song. This is a good barometer for who my people are. Not about politics, if you can't even question this, if it doesn't inspire some kind of question in your heart, then you probably aren't my people.
Hi 👋 new to the channel. I am a Prof fan. I’m from Minnesota. This was right in Prof’s neighborhood. As someone who was born and raised in MN, I can say that the justice system is f**ked up there. I moved from MN in 2019 specifically because shit was getting crazy up there. The injustice I’ve seen is disgusting. I’ve been through the ringer… my husband has almost been killed over some damn mushrooms…. They killed a buddy of mine right outside his apt in Kasota, he was unarmed. Same detective that was off duty when he killed my friend is the same detective that almost killed my husband. There’s sooooo many scenarios where police fucked us all. We could literally sense that there was a breaking point coming. I had no choice but to leave MN if I wanted a chance to live in peace. It’s sad that law enforcement is that dirty. The ones that are supposed to protect and serve. Now to be fair I live in a more peaceful community, but it took me almost a year to not have ptsd from the police here. But bet your ass the second I cross over into Minnesota that Ptsd kicks right back in. You never know with MN cops if they are going to plant something on you just for their own gain. That’s how dirty they are. So glad to be out of that environment. I love this song because it definitely projects the experiences they went through up there in Hennepin county 😢
I'm so sorry you've experienced that. it's really sad that it's as commonplace as it is and as widespread. I'm happy yall got out. a lot of our brothers and sisters don't even have the option and have to live their whole loves with a boot on their necks. thank you for sharing your story and being brave to speak up. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽❤️
@@Keeferfer the only reason I had the means to get out was… my dad was killed in a car accident in Hennepin county. A man driving a work truck was on his phone … ran a red light and smashed my father. My (step) mom called her lawyer and made me an appointment like three days after…. I told the lawyer everything I was told. I was still in shock. The lawyers sued the shit out of the company and insurance companies. I walked away with 198,000 dollars. I left. It was the best thing I could do… but I would trade it all back to have my dad. The money doesn’t heal shit. But it made it easier for me to breathe again. So I do truly understand. I’m lucky to be out and I know that.
Yeah the rest of the country laughs at us in MN like we are soft just because of the memes, but it is called Murderapolis for a reason. I was there the night our city burned. Cops were everywhere, the military rolled in with armored trucks, the gangsters fired into the air, and the trump supporters rolled through with lifted 4x4s and american flags, spotlights and assault rifles. War broke out that night and our city burned, and we all paid for it. Im afraid our country is lost.
Idk if you know, profs hood is attached too all of this, he was less than 5 minutes on foot from all of it at his home... He first hand was involved and care4d for anyone harmed during. took care of his block. would'nt you? no one said the violence is right. defend your home!
I love your commentary bro! I’m from the MPLS/STP and I am so happy to see Prof appreciated ! Thank you for your perspective and content!

Minneapolis was right in the middle of all that crazy shit. Between this, Dodo Birds, and Big Hungry Monster, super stoked for the next record.
Yeah. Is there a release date yet?
@@Keeferfer no, but he’s said it coming sometime this coming year on a pod recently. Fingers crossed it’s not too far out.
