Getting ambushed by a deino is probably the scariest thing to ever happen to somebody because not only do you have 0 time to react, you cant do ANYTHING once you have bonebreak.
Yea deino is the perfect ambush predator. Once you're in those jaws there's no escape. It would be even more scary if the deino had a grab and pull ability to drown smaller prey just like in the isle.

I play mostly PoT over Isle but what ? PoT looks more like disney then realism also Deino is more stiff and his soft tissue seems hard in PoT so I don't know where you get that from. PoT has alot over Isle but sound, animations and realistick feelings dinos are not those things.
actually the sarco does not define as an ambush crocodilian...the sarco is a fisheater mostly and is more closely related too caimans than they are to gators or crocs...proof is in the snout

Worse part playing with humans, on a game that is supposed to be about dinosaurs, is how desperate they all become, illogically trying to swim to kill something quickier, and doing the absolutely opposite, dying to it.
Well, from the looks of it on this game you still do the same amount of damage in water then you do on land, so by that logic anything can attack within the water safely.

I’m new to the game, so can anyone explain me what is all this modded dinos about? I thought they were from the game but later i discovered that they are from mods right? But how does this mods work? I’ve never heard of mods adding characters to a game, i know it’s only at community servers but it’s still weird…
yes so basicly pot mods do not add extra features/gamechanging additions or other foundation altering things...they can however use existing models movements to create their own custom model ontop of it thus u get new modded dinos,then the moddevs adjust stats according to the species...i must add tho,mods like the giga or charcar are gamebreaking and servers that have those installed suffer from a lack of variety...why play a balanced outrex if u can play a giga twice as strong as all dinos put together
As a dilo in a realism server I almost died twice one these things- the first time it lunge don't the water and was 1 inches from bitting me and it missed

I don't get why deinosuchus is so big, the 50 foot specimen is outdated, it was only 36 feet long tops, idk why the modders did this, its like they are fanboys and don't want their precious deinosuchus to be realisticly sized
They are almost 11 meters long, weighing more than most of the largest theropods, it is also an approximate, animals never have a fixed size, they can be much larger or smaller
