They hire you BECAUSE you're black and keep you for exactly three months to get the tax write offs or whatever and then lay you off. I was always the only black male in my department and usually the entire building. Plenty of black and Hispanic women but I was always the only black man.
I really think it's more them trying to fill quotas more than anything. DEI is a good concept but it should never have made its way into hiring practices.
